In 1999, on the eve of the new millennium, the Chinese music scene was still prosperous, with newcomers emerging in large numbers, and there was a pair of brothers and sisters who were taller than anyone else - Chen Zhongyi and Chen Qixuan. Taking advantage of the honor of being the first among the creative groups in the "MTV New Sound Card Battle", they released their first album "Say Forever" under the group name "GoGo&MeMe". The title song of the album, Say Forever, has been sung to this day, and it has become a must-play song on the radio every Christmas - "I am not alone/I am only lonely when I miss you...", the fresh voice and the touching melody are endlessly memorable.

Time and space are pulled back to 2000, and the scene is Japan. They and a large number of staff from the record company they belonged to at the time were filming the cover and MV for their second album. Before the work was completed, the staff received a call from the Taiwanese company - the company was reorganizing its personnel, and all the staff in Japan were laid off. This album was put on hold...

Never I thought this would happen. They are just two big kids who love music. They never thought that they would encounter the term "personnel reorganization" when making music. After returning to Taiwan, the release of the second album was far away. Other artists in the company were releasing albums one after another, but no one seemed to think about them anymore. Until they gave up and didn't want to wait any longer, and plucked up the courage to ask the company to terminate the contract early in exchange for their freedom. After that, his brother Chen Zhongyi concentrated on his art studies and entered the National Normal University's Institute of Fine Arts to study for a master's degree (graduated this year). He also worked hard on creation and occasionally took on some projects for video game soundtracks or advertising soundtracks; his sister Chen Qixuan also worked hard at Shixin Radio and Television In addition to her studies, she also served as her brother's DEMO singer. He also took on video game advertising projects. My sister also helped sing and served as a voice actor, and also took on the CASE projects for the post-production of some teachers and classmates' films.

The dream of music is still tempting them in their hearts, but the blows they have encountered also make them hesitate. During those lonely days, they thought that was all. Zhongyi originally planned to go behind the scenes and write songs while working as a university lecturer after graduating from graduate school, while Qixuan also planned to go into film production. It all happened until Huayan Records heard Zhongyi's creation - "Maybe One Day". Huayan Production Department, which was collecting the song "Power Train" at that time, received this demo and was amazed by the rapid progress of Zhongyi's works, and later invited them to song, and received "Guarding Love"... Their music story has taken another turn since then. Huayan appreciates their rich creative and singing abilities, and they are willing to give themselves to this company that owns both Power Train and S.H.E. A company that combines different styles, it changed its name from GoGo&MeMe to JS. Huayan Records and JS*** joined hands to attack together in 2004 - Meet the Future.

And this song "Without the Past, How to Meet the Future" is exactly the opportunity mentioned above for their old club Sony Records to use "Brothers and Sisters" and they changed their name to JS to re-debut, and re-debuted the music that had not been released at the time. The songs from the existing album were combined into a new EP, which was packaged together with their first album on Sony at the time. It may be a market effect, used to gain publicity.
