Lambs, puppies, kittens and ponies all want to make friends with buffalo.

But the little buffalo wants his friends to eat grass, swim and plow with me.

Lambs can't plow.

Puppies can't eat grass or plow fields.

Kittens can't eat grass or cultivate land.

Ponies can't plow.

So they don't meet the requirements of making friends with buffalo, so they can't make friends with it.
