The number of Internet cafes is increasing day by day, and a large part of them are illegal Internet cafes. Analysis
It can be seen from the survey
1. Middle school students mainly use the Internet out of curiosity and fun.
2. There are two main problems that arise for middle school students due to using the Internet: one is that it affects their learning; the other is that they are affected by bad information on the Internet.
However, surveys show that not many middle school students are affected by the Internet. Generally, middle school students go online out of curiosity and because there is a large amount of information on the Internet and it is fast. The vast majority of middle school students use the Internet very seriously.
For the few middle school students who have problems due to the Internet, their problems usually arise from "playing". What attracts them to the Internet is not knowledge, but other things they see. Middle school students are curious and playful, but their self-control ability is not very strong. This causes these middle school students who are too addicted to the Internet to have problems in life, study, and even thinking. Moreover, the cause of their problems is not just themselves. The root problem is that there are too few websites targeting middle school students and even teenagers. Generally speaking, if you don't search for information with a clear purpose on the Internet, the online world in the eyes of middle school students is mostly too adult. There are only a few useful specialized websites that can really interest middle school students and firmly attract them. Because of this, many middle school students who feel lonely and bored while surfing the Internet are attracted to online games and chat rooms, or are affected by bad information while browsing unintentionally. Moreover, it is easy to become addicted when playing games and chatting, and time often passes unknowingly, which affects the health of some middle school students and also affects the efficiency and quality of learning.
3. The reasons why some middle school students are obsessed with Internet cafes
⑴ There is a lack of activities that can interest middle school students during holidays.
⑵ There is a lack of useful free activity places for middle school students to have fun, activities, and relax.
Many middle school students are under a lot of pressure from study, so during holidays, they really want to go out and relax. But now there is a lack of places where they can truly relax and learn while playing. Although places like the Science and Technology Museum are better, the tickets are often very expensive, and the exhibits are rarely updated, making it impossible for middle school students to go there often. Therefore, it is this "vacuum" that gives Internet cafes an opportunity. In addition, in order to increase customers, Internet cafes offer cheap Internet access and have added many games that can satisfy students' "fun-loving" personality. This makes middle school students often "patronize" Internet cafes.
⑶The crackdown on illegal Internet cafes is not strong enough. Many illegal Internet cafes have gone "underground," making it even more difficult for law enforcement officials to clear them out.
Solutions to the problem
1. Middle school students themselves should strengthen their self-control ability, avoid browsing harmful information online, play less games, and arrange their time online so that it does not last too long.
2. Teachers and parents should guide students to access the Internet. They should not blindly "block the Internet". Instead, they should actively guide students to actively contact, understand and use the Internet through various training and education. They should also improve students' quality through education and focus on cultivating their ability to distinguish right from wrong. ability, enhance moral judgment, so that middle school students can automatically stay away from bad information on the Internet, and can skillfully use the Internet to serve themselves.
3. More websites targeting middle school students should be established.
These websites should not be preachy, but should be very interesting, attract middle school students, and enable middle school students to learn knowledge and receive education while "playing". We should investigate what kind of websites middle school students prefer and what kind of content they prefer, and add these beneficial contents to these websites for middle school students so that they can really get close to middle school students and attract them away from online games and chat rooms. .
You can add some forums to these websites, where middle school students can speak freely, express their opinions and suggestions about the website, teachers, parents, and schools, and talk about their thoughts and worries. In this way, many This method that middle school students like not only keeps middle school students away from bad websites, but also solves their psychological problems in a more practical way, improves the education methods of teachers and parents, and improves the content and effects of the website. Doing so often results in twice the result with half the effort.
4. Efforts should be made to monitor the content of websites on the Internet and purify the online environment. If websites are found to be misleading to middle school students' thoughts and behaviors, they should be removed. Only in this way can the problem be solved fundamentally.
5. In response to the problem of Internet cafes, supervision of illegal Internet cafes should be strengthened. Once illegal Internet cafes are discovered, they must be resolutely eliminated. Middle school students can be mobilized to "report" illegal Internet cafes to facilitate the supervision of Internet cafes.
In fact, as long as the whole society pays attention to the use of the Internet by middle school students, the Internet will become a necessary tool for middle school students in their study and life in the near future.
Part 2: Summer Bookstore Survey Report
As a student, I have a unique love for books. Especially when I go to college, I am even more thirsty for knowledge. At school, there is a library, a unique database for me to explore the sea of ??books. When I go home during the summer vacation, the bookstore naturally becomes the best place for me to read. At first, I just browsed and searched for my own books in some small bookstores near my home. During that period, although it was not as fun as during school, I also had a lot of fun.
By chance, I passed by Xinhua Bookstore. Looking at the newly renovated facade and the glass reflecting the mysterious light, I couldn't help but want to go in and take a look, so I pushed open the door. A glass door. The "dark and empty" large bookstore is neatly decorated with dusty new bookshelves. Only a few rows of bookshelves at the entrance were sparsely placed with "old books" that had nothing to do with me. There were not many people in the bookstore. Owner has everything, so I can only use the above four words to describe it. I recall the Xinhua Bookstore where I bought books when I was in elementary school. Although it was not big, it was warm and full of book atmosphere. Although the number of books is limited, there are always so many that I would like to keep as my own. And now, facing all this, I can't help but wonder why Xinhua Bookstore, which is a decent bookstore in other cities, has not fallen to this level in my county. reached the point. So, while the store clerks were whispering "interestingly", I walked out of the door.
The next day, I started my investigation. First, I walked around Xinhua Bookstore to learn about the situation of nearby bookstores. At the same time, as a reader, I took the opportunity to ask The store owner asked about the situation of some books; in addition, I also inquired about some situations through family and friends; finally, although the investigation was not in-depth enough, I also concluded several reasons:
There are many small shops near the bookstore, although the scale is small. But it has everything in place, and it is a personal operation, so naturally a lot of effort has been put into it, the service attitude is good, and the price can be negotiated. However, Xinhua Bookstore is state-owned, and the clerks are paid dead wages, so the service attitude is not good. Currently, there are only a few books. Since there are people buying books, there are never discounts, but because the school buys teaching materials from Xinhua Bookstore every year, the clerks think they have an iron rice bowl, not to mention the turnover, and are naturally indifferent to customers. Therefore, fewer and fewer people go to Xinhua Bookstore, and the area around Xinhua Bookstore becomes increasingly deserted.
Piracy of books is rampant. Genuine books are rare in small bookstores, but pirated books can be found everywhere. Because of piracy, they are sold cheaply. For ordinary consumers, they naturally don’t care whether the books are genuine, so Xinhua Bookstore, which never buys pirated books, will not Someone is patronizing.
The small town economy has just started, and people’s lives are not yet well-off. Therefore, spiritual needs are not strong, so the working class who earns money will not want to spend money on selling books. Those who buy books are students, but they don't make any money themselves, so they have to think and plan again when spending money. Naturally, "Xinhua" is not a good place to go.
There may be more important reasons, but I think these three points are enough to ruin the future of Xinhua Bookstore. If it does not want to make progress and improve, in a few years, I think our county will not have one. Xinhua.
As a member of my hometown, I naturally hope that it will get better and better, but it is not just economic development, spiritual wealth is more important, so the bookstore must be included in the reform. Here, as an ordinary student, I would like to make the following points from my point of view:
The bookstore implements a responsibility system. Under the premise of state-owned enterprises, division of labor is implemented, and clerks take commissions (in addition to wages) from the books they sell to increase their enthusiasm and establish their status as masters. Let them put the bookstore in their hearts and the customers in their hearts.
Introduce new books and good books, and make full use of Xinhua’s structural advantages. At the very least, customers can feel that they have entered a palace of knowledge when they enter the door. In addition, for students, another audio and video counter can be set up. Music tapes and English tapes are sure to attract many students.
Combating piracy. Although piracy is cheap, it is harmful to society rather than beneficial. In addition, eliminating piracy is conducive to fair competition among bookstores. Of course, it is more conducive to giving full play to the advantages of large bookstores.
Bookstores should appropriately lower the prices of books and give customers some discounts, so that customers will be willing to patronize them.
Strengthen the construction of regional spiritual civilization, publicize the importance of knowledge, and attract more people to join the ranks of reading.
Knowledge is limited, ability is unlimited. Only this superficial investigation can be done. But I also learned a lot from it. These are not in textbooks and cannot be learned in school. In the future, I will pay more attention to the big family of society, pay attention to every trend of it, and learn more knowledge from it. Lay a solid foundation for the unknown road in the future.
