Li Kaikai talks about Ziwei Dou Shu: Grasp the six turning points in your life
There are six turning points in life, that is, six deadlines. Each deadline represents ten years, and each decade The palaces attached to Niandu represent the tasks at this stage. Judging from the Ziwei Dou Shu, they are: Life Palace (childhood), Parents and Brothers Palace (youth), Couple Palace and Fortune Palace (youth), Children Palace Hotan House Palace (middle age), Wealth Palace and Career Palace (prime age), and finally the Servant Palace and Disease Palace (old age).
The first limit: Palace of Life
Corresponding hexagram: Tun hexagram
Hexagram meaning: difficulties in life
Zi Wei Dou Number meaning: The first house, which is the Palace of Life and the Palace of Migration, determines your whole life and the first ten years of your life. Taking the Life Palace as the starting point, the Life Palace also determines your nature, whether you are good or bad, whether you are a mule or a horse, you can tell by looking at the Life Palace. The life palace determines your whole life, but from a long-term perspective, the life palace is in the first ten years. These ten years are almost decisive in your life, so the experiences and environment in these ten years will determine your future path.
The Ziwei Dou Shu begins with the Life Palace, which represents one’s vitality and also represents the ten years since birth. Life, life, people come first, and only when people exist can life continue. Therefore, Ziwei Doushu arranges the first house as the beginning of life, and what it tells us is the difficulty of life.
Life is not determined by oneself, but one can choose it. This choice is usually called hard work. Everything depends on man-made efforts, God rewards hard work, etc., all subjectively encourage us to keep working hard. Life is fragile, especially in the beginning. Without any blow, many lives will be destroyed in their buds and damaged in their infancy. This is why the first hexagram after heaven and earth in "Zhouyi" is Shuileitun. Difficulty and fear, pain and strength, survival and destruction begin from the beginning of life.
Life is fragile, everything that survives is valuable, there is no good or evil!
The second limit: the palace of parents and brothers
Corresponding hexagram: Meng hexagram
Hexagram meaning: Meng to nourish righteousness
Purple The second limit of the Micro Dou Number is the Palace of Parents and Brothers, which determines whether you have a good education and a healthy character in this life; whether you are evil, upright, talented, or a slave; these ten years can also determine whether you have a good education and a healthy character.
The second limit of Ziwei Dou Shu is very important: you cannot know yourself when you are born, and you cannot understand yourself when you are born. The second deadline is often regarded as insignificant by people. In fact, it is this insignificance that determines the basis of your life. Meng Yi Yang Zheng in "Meng Gua" means to guide the child correctly when he is confused. The protagonist here is the brothers and sisters or parents and teachers in the second house of Ziwei Doushu. The biggest mistake of our time is to separate school education and family education. From Ziwei Doushu and "Book of Changes" we can see clearly that the two cannot be separated. The modern one-child pampering has resulted in all of them being weak-minded, flashy, and unable to withstand the test of life. Countless people have committed suicide because of failure in exams. This type of people usually have problems within this limit. In the final analysis, it is a problem with family and school education. Therefore, this limit determines the foundation of your future life. It also tells us the responsibility of parents and family towards their children: not only raising them, the key is correcting them!
The third deadline: the Palace of Couples and the Palace of Fortune
Corresponding hexagram: Need hexagram
Hexagram meaning: wait for the time to gauge the situation, be ready to go
Zi Wei Dou Shu: The third limit is the ten years after the age of twenty, which is called the Palace of Couples or the Palace of Fortune. The House of Marriage and Fortune is the first house away from your family, which is the beginning of your independent life and pursuit of life, and plays a decisive role in the rest of your life.
After leaving the family, it is natural for people to live independently. The first characteristic of independent life is love, marriage and independent thinking. It can be seen that the arrangement of Ziwei Dou Shu is very logical and in line with the traditions of Chinese society and culture. Marriage is no child's play. A good marriage can lead to a perfect life. Many emperors have achieved success because of good wives. The most famous one is the lonely queen of Emperor Wen of Sui Dynasty, and there are many more, such as Empress Xiaozhuang. There are many people who have built a great empire in their lifetime but were destroyed by the hands of their own women. Therefore, we must be absolutely cautious when it comes to marriage. In ancient times, there was no such thing as love, and it was entirely based on the orders of parents and the words of matchmakers.
The failure of a woman's marriage in ancient times was often held accountable to her parents. Traditional marriage has its own advantages and disadvantages, which prevents the frivolity and indecisiveness of modern people. After all, few parents push their children into the fire pit. Its shortcoming is that it kills human rights in this way. In fact, human rights are relative. Westernized things are often absolute. Locke's human rights philosophy is obviously absolute. Human rights do not work in the East. In Eastern society, rights are relative. For example, Confucianism says, "If the king allows his subjects to die, they will have to die." Confucianism added another sentence: "If the king regards his ministers as his hands and feet, then his ministers will regard him as his heart; if the king regards his ministers as dogs and horses, then his ministers will regard him as a countryman; if his ministers regard his ministers as earth and mustard, then his ministers will regard him as a bandit." ". The freedom of love has led to the continuous occurrence of tragedies in modern society, because the lack of social experience has also given criminals opportunities to take advantage of it. Many children regard marriage as child's play, and many people get married twice in half a year. Therefore, there are no absolute things, only relative things. One yin and one yang are called Tao. Ziwei Dou Shu arranges marriage in the third period, which also tells us that marriage plays a connecting role in life. It also tells us that people are prone to lust when they are young and greedy for money when they are old, so we should be cautious. We still need to refer to the Need Gua, assess the situation and be ready for action. At the same time, don’t overdo your desires. Don’t run away from what’s yours, and don’t grab what’s not yours!
The third deadline: Children’s Palace and Tianzhai Palace
Corresponding hexagram: Litigation hexagram
Hexagram meaning: Making plans to start things
Ziwei Dou Shu: The fourth house, that is, the fourth decade is also the period of middle age.
After the Palace of Couple and Spirit, there are the Palace of Children and the Palace of Fields and Houses. Western philosophy describes children as the negation of their parents. From a social observation, once you have children and a family, conflicts begin. Children and families directly lead to a swarm of all kinds of stress and trivial matters in life, just like what Tang Bohu said in "New Year's Eve": Firewood, rice, oil, salt, soy sauce, vinegar, tea. Therefore, the fourth hexagram of "Zhouyi" is used to express the litigation hexagram of conflicting lawsuits. The reason why children and families are present after the age of thirty and before the age of fifty means that the main purpose of life during this period is to support the family. The fourth house also represents desire and pressure. If you have more children, the family expenses will be higher and the pressure will be greater. Therefore, the fourth house is the palace of children and the palace of property and residence. This enlightens us that if we want to maintain the family, we should reduce our desires, especially lust. Many people cheat after getting married. Everyone is vulnerable sometimes. No matter how strong they are, once they are vulnerable, they will have more children. When there are more children, there will be more cheating, and the family will be in chaos. Therefore, these ten years are a decade of accumulation and fortune. Many nouveau riche started in this decade. It is also the decade when ordinary people pursue making a fortune and supporting their families, which directly determines your financial situation.
The fifth limit: the Palace of Wealth and Silk and the Palace of Career
Corresponding hexagram: Master hexagram
Hexagram meaning: Accommodating people and livestock
Zi Wei Dou Shu: After struggling for more than 40 years, I finally reached the first season of receiving goods in my life, which is called the Palace of Wealth and Silk and the Palace of Career. Whether you have money or not, whether you have success or not, you can roughly understand it by looking at these two houses. The purpose of allowing people and livestock is to do social welfare. The reason why you should do public welfare is because you have money and status. The second characteristic of those who have money and status is to act recklessly. There is a saying that goes well, "Men become bad when they have money." Does it mean that a woman becomes better when she has money? "Sincerely, everyone has this kind of hatred, and poor and lowly couples are in ruins." What this poem says about poverty is not just a bad thing. It is precisely because the poor and humble think about things and let them go after thinking about them. They do not know how to take action and do not have the ability to take action. Don't think this is a bad thing, in fact it is a good thing. Especially those who have money at the age of forty and treat women as a toy and men as a toy are extremely rare. Such people are usually financially independent, have a prominent status, and have enough financial resources to support their squandering and debauchery. Power and wealth are people's power, and power and wealth are also people's courage! Therefore, if you have money and power, you must think about achieving your goals and letting the people follow them. Money and career are at the fifth end, which is when you are fifty-year-old. Therefore, "Zhouyi·Shi Gua" is used to express that if you have money and ability, you must learn to be a rich and capable person. What is a rich and capable person - benefiting the public and helping the poor, that is, "Zhouyi·Shi" Gua" says: Allow the people and livestock!
The sixth deadline: Palace of Friends and Palace of Disasters
Corresponding hexagram: Bi Gua
Hexagram meaning: Make contributions and benefit future generations
Zi Wei Dou Shu: Palace of Friends and Palace of Disaster. That is, the last ten years are equivalent to after the age of sixty.
It is always cold at high places, and things will turn to the extreme. The most successful time in life is often when your destiny is about to fall; at the same time, the highest time is also the time when others affirm you and respond to you; so the Palace of Friends and the Palace of Disaster On the one hand, it represents the response of hundreds of people; on the other hand, it represents the end of life, deteriorating health and frequent diseases; it is also the season of harvesting goods at the peak of the sun; it is also a harbinger of death; so it is expressed in "Book of Changes Bi Gua". Bigua means comparison, assistance, etc. This tells us: when we reach the highest point in our lives, we should do something for the younger generation, instead of relying on our own merits, relying on our elders and neglecting our elders, and finally forcing young people to have no way out. The current era is such an era, where yin is not yin and yang is not yang, and young people have no choice but to take risks. China is a society that respects the elderly, but respecting the elderly is not just about qualifications. When respecting the elderly, we often forget to care for the young. The two are indispensable and complement each other! If you don't love children, then who are you? Why should everyone respect you? This is Chinese-style human rights and Chinese-style social morality! Therefore, this hexagram is an important reminder to everyone to make contributions and benefit future generations. Don’t care about personal losses, let alone be jealous of talents!
