The character prototype in "He is My Brother" is Xie Xian.

Li Qi (played by Luo Jialiang), who was in trouble, met his elementary school classmate Xie Yuan (played by Wu Zhenyu) at the end of the road. Xie Yuan mistakenly thought that Li Qi was going to jump into the sea to save him. Since then, Li Qi has been living in Xie Yuan's home. "He is My Brother TVB" is a TV series with a nostalgia theme, filmed in 1997 when Hong Kong returned to the motherland. Produced by Zhong Shujia, it stars Luo Jialiang, Wu Zhenyu, Xuan Xuan and Zhang Keyi.

The play shows the entertainment industry in the 1960s and 1970s in a light and humorous way. The TV station released a soundtrack album for the series, which received a good response. This is the sequel to "Detective Reacher".

Li Qi (Luo Jialiang) and Xie Yuan (Francis Ng) are good brothers in times of adversity and hardship.
