In 2008, all community health service centers in Siming District met the standards of provincial demonstration centers, and medical registration fees were fully exempted. The drug markup rate was reduced by 5% compared with the regulations. The hospital received more than 500,000 patient visits throughout the year. Strengthen family planning and population work, take the lead in launching the death and disability support system for only children in the city, and reward women of childbearing age (including migrant populations) who implement long-term birth control measures, and are rated as advanced units in the family planning information system for migrant populations by the National Family Planning Commission.
