Guo Jia was an outstanding counselor in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. First, he advised Yuan Shao's army to be under siege. Later, he found it difficult for Yuan Shao to achieve great things, so he took refuge in Cao Cao and made great contributions to Cao Cao's unification of northern China. History books called him "a talented and resourceful man", and Cao Cao praised him for his knowledge and his "Zuo Qi".

In the novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Guo Jia's life is basically the same as that in the Three Kingdoms period. He was recommended to Cao Cao in the early stage because of his quick work, and later he was affirmed and recommended by Cheng Yu. Cao Cao's counsellor was deeply trusted and once recommended Ye Liu as a staff officer. Increase the plot of Liaodong, successfully let Gongsun Kang slay Er Yuan and surrender Cao, and let Cao lead Liaodong with a single soldier.
Why Guo Jia was deeply loved by Cao Cao;
One is not only loyal but also "resourceful". Have a big picture in the chest, great ideas in the abdomen, clear eyes and good strategies. Second, it is not only "resourceful" and "profound", but also "universal". Be reasonable, speak modestly and appropriately, and make comments and suggestions with gentle words, which makes people comfortable, and "never make comments" regardless of whether they are adopted or not.
