1. Liu Bang held grudges
Liu Bangxiang, the emperor of the Han Dynasty, was famous for his open-mindedness, open-mindedness, understanding of people and good responsibilities.
Liu Bang had four brothers. The eldest brother Liu Bo died in his early years.
When Liu Bang was a commoner, he was idle all day long, greedy for money and lust, and made friends with a group of local ruffians. Liu Bang often took these people to his sister-in-law's house for dinner. My sister-in-law hates this brother-in-law very much.
One time, the brother-in-law brought a group of random people to eat, and the sister-in-law deliberately scraped the side of the pot loudly with a spoon to pretend that the soup was finished. Liu Bang's buddies all left because of this. Liu Bang secretly went to check and found that there was still soup in the pot. From then on, he resented his sister-in-law.
When Liu Bang finally became emperor, he divided the brothers and relatives, but did not grant the title to his eldest brother's son. When the Supreme Emperor asked the reason, the founding king plausibly said: "It's not that I forgot to grant him the title, because he My mother is so unlike an elder." After the Emperor repeatedly interceded, Liu Bang named his eldest brother's son "Geng Jie" (Jie means 'scraping').
2. The Tragedy of Mrs. Qi
Liu Bang died, and his wife, the Empress Dowager Lu, took charge of the court.
The people Empress Dowager Lu usually hates the most are Liu Bang’s favorite concubine, Mrs. Qi, and her son, King Zhao Ruyi. As soon as Liu Bang died, Empress Lu immediately ordered Mrs. Qi to be imprisoned.
Ruyi was urgently summoned from King Zhao’s fiefdom to return to Beijing.
The newly ascended emperor, Emperor Xiaohui, is Empress Lu’s biological son. Emperor Hui was very kind. Knowing that his mother was angry with Ruyi, he personally took Ruyi back and protected him every step of the way. But in the end, Empress Lu found an opportunity and poisoned her to death.
After Ruyi was killed, Empress Lu immediately sent people to the prison, cut off Mrs. Qi's hands and feet, gouged out her eyes, smoked her ears to deafness, drank dumb medicine, and threw her into a pig pen. Call her a "human pig".
A few days later, Empress Lu called her son Emperor Xiaohui to admire the "human pig". Emperor Hui was surprised and asked what it was. He replied that it was Mrs. Qi. Emperor Hui immediately burst into tears and fell ill from then on. , couldn't get out of bed for more than a year, and said to the Queen Mother: "This is not what humans do. As the Queen Mother's son, I can no longer govern the world."
The Queen Mother Lu was extremely cruel and cruel. !
But as the saying goes, everything happens for a reason, and so does Empress Lu's deep hatred for Mrs. Qi. During the lifetime of the great ancestor Liu Bang, Mrs. Qi was the most favored and often accompanied Liu Bang. However, Empress Lu was old and frail, and was much neglected. At that time, Emperor Xiaohui was appointed as the crown prince, but Mrs. Qi relied on her favor and cried all day long in front of Liu Bang, demanding that her son Ruyi should replace Emperor Hui as the crown prince. Liu Bang almost deposed his eldest son several times, relying on the advice of his ministers. , and Zhang Liang's plan failed to be implemented.
At this time, does Mrs. Qi have any worries?
Women are too keen on power and wealth, which in itself is the beginning of tragedy.
