I have friends who study in middle schools in Boston and new york respectively. Chinese in middle schools don't pay much attention to the nature of your high school. My classmate in Boston is in McDuffie Middle School. I feel that his Chinese classmates there do, but most of them hang out with other international students or American buddies. Maybe there are not so many Chinese in that school, or Chinese friends don't like him. In addition, the one studying in new york went through the intermediary procedure. The one he went to was an international school, and there were almost no American students. I felt that there might be more Chinese students there.
