When he was in the second grade of middle school, Jae-hee developed a love for acting, so he started from In high school, I began to consciously develop acting skills. He began his real acting life by playing a child actor in the MBC special drama "Mountain" in 1996. Although he has worked hard for a long time to achieve today's results, like his clean appearance, he has his own simple thoughts.

Someone said to Zaixi: "You must be a good young man, look how shy you look when you smile." At this moment, he withdrew his smile and showed his cool expression and gaze. He is a man like a poisoned apple.

Jae Hee, who is busy filming the movie "The Reception" (also known as "The Invitation"), accepted our interview.

Q1. "Heroes Chunhyang" has very high ratings, definitely Are you happy? At first, were you worried that the ratings would be low without the big-name stars?

A: I just feel very lucky. I was very busy during the filming, and I was so tired after the filming. There are so many interviews that I lose my energy. I didn’t expect such a reaction.

Q2. Do interviews that come out of the blue bother you because reporters keep asking the same questions? ?

A: It’s not annoying, it’s just strange. I usually don’t like to talk. Sometimes I don’t say a word for a whole day. I jokingly said that it’s a bit strange to have to talk so much. Tired. I am quite shy of strangers, and it takes time to get along with someone. I can guess whether I can trust this person the first time I meet him.

Q3. Everyone is very interested in what Jae Hee is like. Which image in "Empty Room" or "Heroes" is closer to you in life?

A: The characters in the works are just characters. Of course, there are differences in some aspects. Tae Hee has a gloomy side, but also has a childish side like Mong Yong. When I chose "Empty Room" I didn't even read the lines. I chose it because it was directed by Kim Ki-duk and I didn't know what Tae Hee was like at first.

Q4. Did you have any hesitation when you suddenly had to play a completely different role?

A: I don’t think you need to act twice. For the same role, I chose "Hero Chunxiang" because it was a completely different role. Someone asked me if it was difficult to play a role like Menglong who usually doesn't like to talk. If an actor finds it difficult to act, how can he be too dedicated? Regarding the characters in the script, I find it amazing that I am a person who completely separates my work from myself. I can't be crazy even if I play an alcoholic. < /p>

Q5. The reason why high school students Chunxiang and Menglong got married is somewhat unusual. What would they do if they encountered this situation in reality - being misunderstood because they slept with a woman?

Q6. What kind of girl do you like?

A: A kind person. . When you meet a woman, you should first look at her heart. I used to think that you can know the nature of a woman just by meeting her once or twice, but later I found that this is not the case, so now you have to observe her for a longer period of time, and appearance is secondary.

Q7. Is Jae Hee a kind person?

A: This is the first time someone has asked me this. I am not, and I don’t think I am, but others say I am not kind. I want to be a kind person and often look back on my past and think about what kind of person I am.

Q8. How can I make Jae Hee angry?

A: I am quite capable. I can tolerate it, but I can't tolerate making mistakes at work, such as making mistakes for no reason in a scheduled project, or when I was prepared but failed to do it.

The most unbearable thing is my own mistakes, and I have high demands on myself.

Q9. Your face has delicate lines and doesn’t look very masculine. From an actor’s point of view, isn’t it satisfying for you?

A: Not very satisfied, but I don’t want plastic surgery. Although he is not very handsome, he is not ugly either. I can only bring out the advantages I have.

Q10. You have both light and dark, good and evil in your face, right?

A: This is my only advantage, discovered by director Kim Ki-duk. If I hadn't met him, I wouldn't be where I am now. Every actor wants to work with Director Jin, and they can feel that they have made great progress by working with him.

Q11. He showed his excellent potential as an actor in "Empty Room" and became a star through "Chunxiang". What does Jae Hee really want to be an actor or a star?

A: Of course he is an actor. In fact, it is wrong to separate actors from stars. Either someone who is good at acting but not popular is an actor, but someone who is popular is a star. Becoming an actor has the possibility of becoming a star, but whether you can maintain your star status depends on whether you can maintain your current status. Once you figure out what you really want, it doesn't matter whether you follow the path of an actor or a star.

Q12. You became a model and you also stood on stage in the United States in April this year. How do you feel about it?

A: It’s really difficult, much harder than acting. It’s still the easiest thing to do.

Q13. How do you spend your spare time?

A: Like someone. I lie at home doing nothing and just think about things with my brain. I also like to travel alone. Before starting a new project, in order to get rid of the previous image, I sometimes rent a hotel in Seoul and stay alone. I don’t like Jiangnan very much, and I don’t want to go to KTV or BAR. I like to drink at food stalls near home and drink with people close to me. I don’t think actors have to eat, drink and have fun in high-end places. I hate this kind of thing.

Q14. Is the image in the movie "The Hospitality" a new challenge?

A: Yes. This feels very fresh. Now I feel more and more pressure, because the more attention I get, the harder I have to work. I've also taken on another movie at the same time, which I can't reveal yet, but it's completely different from the character in "The Reception." (It’s "The Technique of Fighting")
