The boy who cried wolf.
(adapted sketch)
Characters: shepherd boy, wolf, several friends, father.
Location: On the mountain.
(The shepherd boy comes to the stage with a stick to drive the sheep)
Shepherd boy: I am a little shepherd boy. It's just me and my grandfather at home. My parents went to work in the city. I have no money to go to school. Grandpa had to buy some lambs for me to raise, saying that he would sell them when they grew up and give me money to go to school.
(waving a stick and doing the action of driving away)
Lamb, let's go to the mountain to eat grass. Eat and grow up quickly. Turn around and drive the lamb to the edge of the stage. )
Wolf: (sneaking onto the stage, wearing the headdress of a wolf's head) I am a smart and lovely wolf. I used to eat meat with my brain, but now I have to go hungry every day. It's all because the children in the village ran to the mountain to herd sheep, and the animals on the mountain were too scared to come out. If this continues, I will starve to death, too.
Fortunately, I found a new food, that is, the sheep put by the little shepherds. These days, a little shepherd boy put the sheep in my territory. I have to find a way to eat this fresh mutton in my mouth.
(turning to see the little shepherd boy, overjoyed) Haha, look, here comes the food. (hide aside and hide your tail)
(to the shepherd boy) Hi, my friend, good morning, let's herd the sheep.
Shepherd boy: Who are you? I'm not your friend.
Wolf: I am the big wolf dog at the entrance of the village. I am your friend. People often say that dogs are friends of human beings. Then you humans are our dog's friends.
Shepherd boy: Are you a dog? Why are you like a wolf? Where is your tail?
Wolf: I am a wolf dog, so I look a bit like a wolf. My tail is born like this, I can't help it.
Shepherd boy: Really?
Wolf: Yes, I can tell by my kindness. I'm here to make friends with you. I think you are lonely.
Shepherd boy: I have many friends. I was not alone when I was herding sheep on the mountain.
Wolf: Really? Do they regard you as a friend? Do you know what they say about you behind your back?
Shepherd boy: What do you mean?
Wolf: They say you are a fool and an idiot. If you can't read, you will learn to herd sheep.
Shepherd boy: They won't say that about me!
Wolf: They also say that you are a little villain, herding sheep up the mountain to grab their grass.
Shepherd boy: Grass grows naturally on the mountain. How can it be theirs? Well, I didn't expect them to be such people.
Wolf: That kind of person is not worth making friends with. Little shepherd boy, only I appreciate you. You are a clever and lovely little shepherd boy. One day, you will be a ... a successful shepherd.
Shepherd boy: Of course. Well, I'll make you a friend.
Wolf: Thank you, my friend. For the sake of our friendship, I decided to help you herd sheep.
Shepherd boy: Thank you.
Wolf: You're welcome. This is not good for me.
And those damn shepherds, I'll give you an idea to drive them away.
Shepherd boy: What do you think?
Wolf: Just stand on the high ground and shout: Wolf is coming, Wolf is coming. They will be cheated.
Shepherd boy: OK, let's do it. (Standing on a high place, shouting) The wolf is coming, the wolf is coming.
(The partners come on stage with tools, and the wolf hides aside. )
Everybody: Where is the wolf?
Shepherd boy: What wolf? There are no wolves.
Everyone: Didn't you shout "Wolf"?
Shepherd boy: No, you heard wrong.
Everyone: (looking at each other) Maybe we really heard wrong. (to the shepherd boy) You should be careful. When you see a wolf, you must call us, and everyone will help you catch it.
Shepherd boy: (contemptuously) Thank you.
(under the partner. Wolf clutching his stomach)
Wolf: Haha, that's funny. Look how stupid they are. hahaha
Shepherd boy: (gloating) They are the idiots. That's hilarious. I'm gonna fuck them again. (Standing on the highland again, shouting) The wolf is coming, the wolf is coming.
(The partners rushed up again with tools. )
Everybody: Where is the wolf?
Shepherd boy: What wolf? I've never seen a wolf.
Everyone: It was you who called "Wolf" just now. You didn't see that you were lying to us.
You are a liar.
Shepherd boy: I'm a liar, which is better than your hypocrisy. Wolves will only eat you, not me.
Everyone: We don't care about you anymore. We don't have friends like you. (angrily)
Shepherd boy: I don't want a friend like you.
Wolf: Haha, it's interesting how these guys were cheated. See if you dare to shout and kill me in the future.
(to the shepherd boy) My friend, you are really good. I'll herd sheep in the future, so you can sleep in peace.
Narrator: From then on, the little shepherd boy stopped taking care of his lamb. Every day, when the sheep are driven to the mountains, they will still look after the wolves and find a cool place to sleep. There were fewer and fewer sheep, and he didn't know until one day, the wolf ate the last sheep.
Shepherd boy: Where is my sheep?
Wolf: They ... they fell off the cliff and died.
Shepherd boy: You lied to me. It's impossible. Take a closer look at the wolf's tail and its blood. Epiphany) You are a wolf. You ate all my sheep.
Wolf: So what if I am a wolf?
Shepherd boy: I'll call someone to arrest you. (Running to the heights, shouting) The wolf is coming, the wolf is coming.
Wolf: (proudly) Don't waste your time, no one will come to save you. You have lied to them many times. I'm still hungry. Let me eat you and fill my stomach.
Shepherd boy: Help. (running and shouting, the wolf is chasing after)
(Father and his friends come on stage with tools)
Father: (Stop the wolf) Go to hell, beast. (A stick killed the wolf)
Shepherd boy: (pouncing on his father) Thank you, Dad.
Father: You should thank your partner. They brought me to see you.
Shepherd boy: Dad, do you blame me?
Father: Son, dad doesn't blame you, he blames himself. Dad shouldn't have left you at home to suffer. Now that dad has earned money, the country has begun to implement free compulsory education. Tomorrow, dad will take you to study.
Shepherd boy: Well, Dad, I really want to go to school.
