How to specify the study plan of IELTS English (my English level 3)
If you want to reach 6.5 before the end of this year (I don't know whether it is the total score or each item? These two requirements are quite different. It is estimated that it will take a lot of effort (of course, I don't know what you mean by junior high school foundation. My personal English has always been excellent, and I got 6 points in the IELTS test in my second year. I suggest you go to a training institution to do a model test of the four IELTS contents (most institutions have a model test of reading and listening, but there are not many model tests of oral writing, so you have to find it yourself), and then make a specific plan according to the test results.

[first stage]

Generally speaking, it is completely at a loss to learn IELTS directly at the level of junior high school graduation. Since the grammar foundation is ok, it should be supplemented from three aspects: vocabulary, listening and speaking (writing and reading can be discussed later).

For words, recite the little red book in the order of high school-CET-4-CET-IELTS. If you spend an hour or two reciting every day, you can recite four books by the end of the year. But because there is still a process of practice after memorizing the words, the requirements for you are also very high.

Listening can be practiced by repeating dictation slowly. For those with a good level, use nine Cambridge IELTS 1-9. Each book has three or four sets of themes. Listen to each article with computer software at a speed of about 0.8, and at the same time write down the content completely (dictation). At first, you can pause after listening to each sentence, then listen to the whole paragraph slowly and then improve your speech speed. If the degree is not good, 0.8 times IELTS still can't start, so we can start from the new concept 2, and the method is the same as above.

Speaking of it, if you have a class, you can practice with the teacher (this can be considered as one-on-one, and the other three small classes (12 people or less) will do. If you have strong self-control, you can also read and listen in large classes, but according to the description, it seems not. . . ), if you don't attend classes or want to strengthen extracurricular activities, you can go to the residential areas where foreigners live in concentrated areas in the city, talk to foreigners in bars and other places, and explain your purpose of practicing English and making friends by the way. Europeans and Americans will generally be happy to chat with you (of course, you still have to be thick-skinned).

When the words are memorized (or CET-4 is memorized, the following CET-6 and IELTS can be studied at the same time), the listening can be written completely after listening for two or three times at a speed of 0.8 times, and the oral English can be communicated with foreigners more freely (basic communication is enough without depth), so that the second stage can basically be entered. The time spent at this stage depends entirely on how hard you work. I have been around for two months (full-time English study), and some have not practiced for a year.

[second stage]

The easiest way is to sign up for a basic class in an institution. If you don't want to, you can buy Cambridge 1-9 yourself. However, since Kung Fu is not at home, let's not waste this most essential question. If you must, make 1-4/ 1-5 first, and leave the next four or five books. Listening is still intensive (you have to do it after listening to the questions), and oral English is still practiced. Reading is because vocabulary and grammar have passed, and the test is speed. At the beginning, you should read intensively (at least 5-8 articles, if the situation is not good, it may be about 65,438+00 articles), and then you can read as soon as possible without restrictions (and then do the questions). As for writing, it is still recommended to train in class (and there will be teachers to correct it). This stage should be able to reach the level of IELTS 5.5.

[third stage]

The most convenient way is to go to the institution to enroll in the 6.5 guaranteed intensive class. If you teach yourself, you will do 5 ~ 9/6 ~ 9 real questions, completely simulate the test state (limited time), summarize and analyze after completing one set, and then use the materials you have done to listen and read intensively (these questions must not be wasted) until you fully understand this set of questions. After reading the book in this way, there should be no problem with reading/listening 7 points, and writing still needs the guidance of the teacher, and 7 points is not difficult. Oral English depends on the individual. Some people will get stuck at 5.5. If the requirement of 6.5 is the total score, you can score according to the other three items. If it is a single item, you should practice it well (oral English requires the lowest vocabulary, but it takes a lot of time).
