2.
Make friends with students from different backgrounds: You may have a tendency to only get along with people with similar experiences or backgrounds, but the charm of American business schools is that they bring people from all corners of the country together. If you are willing to make efforts to meet friends with completely different backgrounds, your life experience will be richer.
3.
Take part in extracurricular activities: In many of my previous blogs, I spare no effort to suggest that you must take part in extracurricular activities and ferry to the movie network, which is an indelible wealth for your studies, future career and even life. Only by taking an active part in extracurricular activities can you reap the greatest benefits in the career of American business schools. What you can learn from extracurricular activities is as important as what you learn in class. You can meet more people in the interview and have more topics to talk about.
4.
Don't attach too much importance to grades: There is no denying that you go to class to study. The grades at school will more or less reflect a student's ability, but don't be so eager for perfect grades that you don't have time to experience other aspects of business school life. After all, when you graduate, not many companies will care if you have a 4.0 grade.
5.
Rethink your career goals in business school: Even if you have set your ideal career goals when you apply, it is better to re-examine your life after you really enter the school. Don't make life absolute, attend more company meetings and learn more new topics. You will be surprised to find that your interest is not limited to the previous settings.
6. Don't be at a loss because you can't find a suitable internship: even if you don't get your dream internship, you still have the same chance to find a full-time job after graduation. The competition for summer internships is much fiercer than that for full-time jobs.
7.
Learn from the internship: Although some people eventually want to return to the internship company to do full-time work, many people are actually unwilling. Even if you spend a summer internship and find that you don't really like it that much, don't regret it. After all, this is your life experience, and you have learned a lot from it.
8.
If you don't like some course designs, speak up bravely: many business school courses are very flexible and are constantly improving. If you are not satisfied with the course design or content, don't just sit there and complain to everyone. It is better to communicate with the teacher in time and do some work to help. Sometimes, you may start a new course, club or seminar because of this.
9. Keep in touch with classmates: Remember that your classmates, whether you like it or not, are your contacts. Including your seniors and sisters, are your precious interpersonal wealth.
