Stuffed toys, piggy banks, notebooks, handmade products or cups, etc., are all meaningful gadgets. When we were students and didn't have any financial foundation, we usually gave gifts using materials around us, mostly our own handiwork. It was also during the student days that gifts were the most thoughtful. Nowadays, when we give gifts, we choose them at prices within our acceptable range.

When I graduated from college, I received a box of flowers made by my schoolmate to wish me a happy graduation. This is the latest and last gift I received from my student days. There are blue paper flowers in a gift box. The layers are very stunning. To be honest, I don’t like this kind of handiwork very much, but I have a good intention and I accept it very gratefully.

When I was in high school, I received a lot of gifts, most of which were birthday gifts. We gave each other birthday gifts every year starting from the first year of high school, such as beautiful mugs or notebooks. The most popular ones, when I choose gifts for them, I buy them based on practicality. When the summer is hot, I buy ice pads, and in winter, I buy gloves and scarves. There are many people who learn to knit scarves by themselves, but unfortunately I am clumsy and have never learned how to do it.

When I was in elementary school, we were popular in knitting bracelets. There were all kinds of bracelets. I think I was the most ingenious at that time. Now I can’t think of it no matter how hard I think about it. Even if I watched the tutorial for a long time, I still can’t react. Come on, I probably have no patience anymore. When we were in elementary school, we knitted bracelets one by one to express our long-lasting friendship.

Now that I am working, I don’t have any gifts to give. During the holidays, I will buy some for my boyfriend and parents, but they have lost the meaning of gifts when I was a student.
