The capital of our political and cultural center is lovely, but so are the rural areas that produce grain, cotton and oil. If you want to ask which aspect is cuter than the other, I think it's the same as asking which is cuter-different kinds of things can't be compared. A writer should not be an interested person, but he must always be interested in the base areas that are familiar with people's lives. —— Zhao Shuli

I grew up in the countryside, and after I joined War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, I was still active in the countryside, whether it was the combat troops or the party and government organs. Later, he worked in the countryside for many years. I have participated in everything from land reform to cooperative movement. It can be said that we have an indissoluble bond with the countryside and have deep feelings for farmers. I found many shiny things on them. I know them well and love them very much. Worry about their worries and be happy for their happiness. I am willing to serve them. When I write, my readers are farmers and rural cadres in China. I don't care whether other readers like reading or not. As long as the readers in my mind are willing to see and listen, I am satisfied. Ma Feng

By going deep, we don't mean living in a village, asking about some customs, observing clothes styles and women's hairstyles. That was not the case. The works written in this way are either superficial or "watching the fire from the other side." The so-called in-depth is to regard yourself as a member of the peasants, worry about the disaster, be happy for the good weather, and contribute everything to the collective economy-only with these can the peasants make friends with us and treat us as their own. -Sun Xi

"My novels are all inspired by life. For example, "Running Water" was written after I participated in the agricultural cooperative movement for more than a year. "
"Writing rural novels naturally requires familiarity with rural life, farmers and rural cadres. At the same time, it is necessary to understand the rural policies, current policies and past policies, and to stand higher, look farther and think about future development. Because farmers and cadres living in rural areas have to be influenced by policies, the fate of characters and the relationship between people are all related to policies. Writing rural novels will inevitably consider rural policy issues. " Hu Zheng

Mass life is as important to literary and artistic creation as the relationship between the object of labor and labor, and it is absolutely indispensable. Because of life experience, it is possible to enter the creative process. Otherwise, there will be a phenomenon that heroes are useless. Li Shuwei

I never thought I had any talent. The reason why I can write, as I have said many times, is the gift of life. To make an imprecise analogy, creation is like doing business. Only what you buy can you dare to sell. It is my greatest contempt to engage in a "leather bag company" by shorting. When I write by myself, I often go to life first. Only with accumulation and understanding of life can we dare to write. -Xirong's Fifty Springs on the Road to Literature
They adhere to the creative method of revolutionary realism, are loyal to the rural real life full of sharp and complicated contradictions, are loyal to their true feelings, and pay attention to the complexity and diversity of writing characters. In their new life, the new role is simple, heavy and real, rather than apathy and idealism divorced from the reality of life. Successfully created many backward figures or "middle figures", such as leg pain, insufficient food, Mrs. Lai and other fleshy images. Shan Yao Egg School inherited and developed the tradition of China's classical novels and rap literature. It focuses on telling stories, and the description of characters and scenes is integrated into the narrative. The structure is smooth and distinct, and the character is mainly expressed through language and action. They are good at choosing and using rich details. The language is concise and clear, and their works are easy to understand, with strong national style and local color. Before the downfall of the Gang of Four, Shan Yao Egg School was repeatedly impacted by the left-leaning ideological trend and failed to develop fully. After the downfall of the Gang of Four, a group of young writers in Shanxi consciously maintained and developed this literary form.
