If you are a freshman again:
1. When choosing a bed, try not to choose a bed near a window or under an air conditioner. Because it is close to the window, you will be awakened by the sun's rays after five o'clock in the summer, and you will be awakened by the cold air coming through the cracks in the window in the winter. Students who choose to stay under the air conditioner will suffer from headaches if their heads are blown by the air conditioning wind for a long time. They will be the first to catch a cold and the last to recover every time.
2. Don’t take all the housework in the dormitory into your own arms. If you think it is a blessing to suffer a loss, others will not appreciate you. And your roommates are not scoundrels. They are still willing to do the work they are supposed to do. They just need someone to remind them.
3. Be cruel to your roommates. It's not about doing anything harmful to others, but it's about not being too weak or accommodating in your attitude. If the other person doesn't even show the most basic respect, why should you let him or her control you? People like to choose those who appear to be harmless to use their strength. But the relationship between people is always balanced. Once you become tough, the other party will have to temper it.
4. Try not to go to newly established societies. When the Big 100 Group recruits new people, many social organizations go to great lengths to recruit new people. Each pie is bigger than the other, but in the end it’s okay if you can only see the crumbs of the pie. Remember! Do not join newly established organizations and societies! Generally speaking, these types of societies are the most deceptive. Under normal circumstances, this kind of newly established club has almost no status in the school - that is, it cannot get any funding and can hardly host any decent activities. And the personnel are inexperienced. Joining them at this time is purely a cannon fodder test subject for the development of the society. How to tell? The easiest way: Check to see if the club has any award certificates from activities it participated in in previous years.
5. Don’t always think about working hard in silence, and then suddenly one day you will be able to impress the classmates around you, or you will suddenly become a blockbuster in your own circle. Remember, you live for yourself, not for others. If the purpose of your silent efforts is just to satisfy your own vanity, then you will lose yourself and find your direction after being praised.
6. Don’t show your heart to every senior and sister. Find a senior or senior that you are particularly convinced and like. Be persistent, persevere, and treat him wholeheartedly. Show your value to him/her more often, ask him/her questions frequently, and get information from him/her. It is enough for us to lick one of these awesome seniors in four years, and there will definitely be unexpected gains.
7. Start managing your image seriously. At the very least, it should be simple and comfortable, clean and tidy, and should not be slovenly or slovenly. If possible, make yourself better-looking and more elegant. After all, everyone is lazy. Once they see what you look like, they will leave an impression in their hearts. No one will take the initiative to get to know you deeply unless you are particularly good-looking. But don't use too much force. Dress up every day as if you want to perform on stage. The outside is just a support, and the inside is the main attack.
8. There are many things that must be done in the freshman year. Get the basic certificate as soon as possible, such as Computer Level 1, English Level 4... Although it is only a basic certificate, it cannot be left without.
9. Don’t do everything yourself. Group tasks must be completed by group division of labor and cooperation. Don't think that doing everything by yourself is a way to exercise your abilities. In fact, you are irresponsible to yourself. In order to avoid the task of communicating and coordinating with group members, you simply take all the work on yourself.
10. Never go to bed after 11pm, nor sleep until 12pm. Being young is no reason to squander your health. Don’t take your health for granted. Staying up too late or skipping breakfast will torture yourself in another way in the future.
11. Don’t change majors to escape your current major. No professional major is easy. Even if you don't like your major, you should at least make your grades look better.
12. Listen carefully and take notes in class, and be sure to review carefully at the end of the semester.
Examination is a small matter, but failing a subject is a big matter; make-up exams are not easy, but retaking them is even harder; if you don’t have enough credits, you will have to delay graduation to make up for it. Even if you are dissatisfied with your major and don't like it, don't be depressed and use this as an excuse to live in confusion and let your learning career slowly rot.
13. I will insist on going to the library to study. There are always rumors that college is not perfect if you don’t skip classes. This idea is totally wrong. You must study hard in college. When you are a student, you will find reading boring; but after you leave school, you will want to go back to your student days. This is a common human problem. In order not to regret it, young people should still cherish the good time of studying, and even if they cannot learn well, they should try their best.
14. Arrange your spare time reasonably. Stop sleeping in the dormitory, playing with your mobile phone, go to the library to read poetry and books, go to forums and websites to update your knowledge, and find high-quality internships to exercise your abilities. Taking the initiative to strike up a conversation in college may not necessarily lead to a story, but taking the initiative to learn will definitely pay off.
15. Don’t get used to comfort. Once you feel that you have adapted to college life, be sure to get out of this comfort zone in time. College should not be a stable state. College must be a time of struggle. Without struggle, there will be no progress.
16. Learn to drive as early as possible. If you can get your driver's license in your freshman or sophomore year, you will never delay it until your junior or senior year. As time goes by, you will become busier and busier. If you don’t want to experience the anxiety of studying, graduation, internship and other things piled up at the same time, you have to learn to plan ahead and take down all the tasks that can be completed in advance.
