In the WeChat circle of friends, the steps of sending text instead of pictures are as follows:

1. Open the mobile phone WeChat, enter the WeChat account and login password in the login window, and then click Login.

2. Go to the WeChat homepage, click "Discover" at the bottom, and then click "Enter the circle of friends".

3. Then on the circle of friends page, press and hold the "camera" icon in the upper right corner with your finger to enter the text editing page, enter the text, and then click "Send" in the upper right corner.
