Legal analysis
It is illegal and criminal to raise red pandas privately. Panda is an endangered animal stipulated by the state and protected by the state. Giant pandas are endemic to China, and their main habitats are mountainous areas in Sichuan, Shaanxi and Gansu. Its head and trunk are 1.2~ 1.8 meters long, its tail is 10~ 12 cm long, its skin is thick, its body is plump and rich, its head and tail are short, and its male is slightly larger than its female. The cheeks are round, with big dark circles, and the black and white body color is conducive to hiding in dense forest trees and snowfields, which is not easy to be discovered by natural enemies. Because inbreeding is inevitable, the recessive genes of giant pandas are homozygous, and the vitality of offspring is reduced, even deformed or fatal. This phenomenon is also a serious problem for giant pandas raised artificially in zoos. Most of them come from the same wild area, which makes many cubs kept in zoos deformed or stunted after birth, and most of them die young, making it difficult to maintain and develop the population. Because the giant panda is an extremely precious natural and historical heritage in the world, it has important academic research value, and its survival and protection situation is concerned by the world. The fundamental measures to protect giant pandas are to protect their habitats, promote the reproduction of wild and raised giant pandas, improve and strengthen management methods, and adopt scientific methods to create necessary conditions for the survival of giant pandas, stabilize and further develop their populations, and develop and restore their potential habitats.
