Copying is a special language of calligraphy and a basic method that must be used to learn any kind of calligraphy. Learning calligraphy is inseparable from pioneering films and copying. Only by manually describing the excellent rubbings in ancient times can we master the basic techniques of various calligraphy styles (such as using a pen, tying characters, composition, charm and so on). ) and appreciate the subtleties in ancient calligraphy works. Regarding plagiarism, we can think from the following three aspects:
1, copy combination
Copying is the most basic way to learn calligraphy, not only for beginners, but also after a certain foundation. Learning regular script requires copying, while learning seal script, official script, running script and cursive script still requires copying. Calligraphers spend their whole lives copying, learning, thinking and creating in copying.
Copying is to cover the copybook with thin paper, and then follow the shadow with a pen and write according to the exposed handwriting, which is also called "imitation" or delay writing. Another method of copying is called "tracing red", which is to fill in the words printed with red lines with double hooks.
The method of copying posts: the first step is to draw red. That is, select clear and complete words from posts and cover them with transparent and ink-tight tissue paper, such as typing paper, glossy paper and tracing paper. , and according to the outline of the word with a very thin line hook into a hollow word, known as the "double hook". Then use the marked words as red books, fill them in red ink, then fill them in blue ink, and finally fill them in ink. This writing can not only deepen memory, but also save paper.
When copying a post, you should pay attention to the pen that follows it, and never go out of shape. You should look at the ins and outs of strokes and try to figure out its brushwork and structure. Copying posts means "writing", and the strokes are full and accurate, so don't fill in the gourd painting.
Sticking a post is to have a basic understanding of the rules of using a pen and writing on the basis of copying a post, and then you can write a post. There are three ways to post: face to face, face to face and back.
Face to face, that is, put the copybook on the opposite shelf and write according to it. This is the most convenient and commonly used face-to-face method.
A glimpse, that is, make a grid with transparent paper (Tian Zige, Mi Zige, Jiugongge, etc. ) and write in style. Mainly used to master the structure of the post.
Back-to-back is to put away the post and write the words in the post by memory, seeking both its shape and its spirit. After the recitation, you can define the words as couplets or articles, and then enter the creative stage.
Copy a pen with a shadow, and we will write like the ancients did. Size, length, width, thickness, Fiona Fang and skew should be written according to the post requirements, and there are certain norms and constraints. The characteristic of copywriting is that it is easy to learn the structural position of the ancients, but because the norms are too dead, they lose the brushwork of the ancients, and the pen is rigid and inflexible, which makes people feel unbearable. Pro-posts or pro-posts, or pro-posts, or pro-posts, or pro-posts, plus many writers' own personality characteristics, it is easy to get the brushwork of the ancients and lose the structural position. Writing freely and casually, pursuing individuality, but gaining little.
Therefore, in copying, it is necessary to copy and combine, copy first and then present, which not only obtains the ancient brushwork, but also obtains the ancient construction method. When practicing, you can copy first, then copy in turn and then copy later. Or use the "double hook" method to study the structural law. Imitation and interpenetration, learn from each other's strong points, have excellent results. Read more, think more, ponder more, and then write. Writing must be accurate, similar first, and then similar, in order to have both form and spirit. After copying, we should repeatedly check and compare, sum up experience and lessons, improve in negation and mature in lessons.
2. First in and last out
Copying is the most basic and effective way to learn calligraphy. Copying is inheritance, that is, learning from the ancients, learning the beautiful brushwork, beautiful words, beautiful composition, beautiful charm and momentum in the excellent inscriptions of predecessors. However, there is another key problem with replication. If you don't enter the post, you can't write it, or if it doesn't look like it, you can't talk to the ancients and learn the beauty of ancient calligraphy. But if you don't post it, you can't get out if you go in. Too much like the ancients, you have become a book slave of the ancients, and you have no personality at all. Writing like this will eventually become your own book style.
Regarding posting, Yao, a man of the dynasty, put it well: "I can't be posted without me, and it is vulgar to have me"; When posting, "you can't live without me, it will be very complicated without me." "There is no me here", that is, to study the ancient law posts wholeheartedly and grasp the spiritual outlook of the posts, "every word must follow the ancient posts". If you don't enter the post, there will be no books. "You can't live without me" is to absorb the advantages of other inscriptions on the basis of images, integrate them, combine your artistic accomplishment and creative ability, gradually form your own style, personality and creativity, and gradually move towards a new realm of free creation.
3, I began to understand after reading the post.
The important thing is the reading method, that is, to learn books and be good at understanding, that is, to understand from the reading method, and some excellent calligraphy posts of the ancients do not have to come. As long as you read it carefully and appreciate it repeatedly, you will naturally integrate it into your own calligraphy creation.
Reading a tablet is not reading the contents of the tablet aloud. The so-called reading post is a special term for calligraphy, that is, the calligrapher carefully analyzes, studies and ponders the strokes and structure of each word of the inscription and the composition, momentum and charm of the whole work before copying it, or in his usual work. When reading them, they often can't help but draw with their fingers and copy with their hands excitedly.
The ancients read the posts carefully. Cao Cao is not only a famous politician and strategist, but also a famous poet and calligrapher. There is a "Rolling Snow" official script inscribed for him in Hanzhong Museum, Shaanxi Province. According to legend, he likes Liang Hu's calligraphy, so he hangs Liang Hu's words on his account. He never gives up reading posts when he has time to study. According to legend, Zhong You, a great calligrapher of the Wei Dynasty in the Three Kingdoms, paid a living and tasted the land. He studies very hard, paying special attention to reading and memorizing famous posts. Ou Yangxun, a calligrapher in Tang Dynasty, once found an inscription written by Suo Jing, a calligrapher in Jin Dynasty. He turned to finish reading, and his legs hurt, so he just sat down and watched. Reluctantly left for three days in a row.
Read posts or talk to the ancients, make friends, and achieve thoughts and feelings. Read the post from a little painting, carefully study and ponder the beauty of the ancients' pen, word, composition, momentum and charm. Through reading, we can see God with our eyes, so as to deepen our understanding, exercise our visual memory, and enrich, preserve and improve our artistic appreciation. Attach a book and read a hundred books. Reading posts is not limited to one or two books. The practical experience of many calligraphers in ancient and modern times proves that it is better to read posts than to copy them. We don't have to get close to some inscriptions, but we can read them, deeply understand the three flavors in ancient calligraphy works, and gradually absorb and digest them, so that we can rush to the bottom of our wrists and enrich them on paper, and our hands will naturally follow the height of our eyes, making them smart. Eye-catching, heart-catching, hand-catching, heart-to-hand correspondence, get twice the result with half the effort.
