Skilled in calligraphy, good at poetry, and fond of traveling, his footprints are all over the famous mountains and rivers of Sichuan, leaving traces of his legacy.
After Yongzheng Emperor Yinzhen came to the throne, in order to avoid naming taboos, except for himself, the other emperor brothers avoided the taboo word "Yin" and changed their rankings to the word "Yun". Therefore, it is also called "Yunli".
He once secretly petitioned him to forgive the people in Jiangnan provinces who owed grain, reeds, school rent, and miscellaneous taxes, and he agreed. As a result, he was praised for his "loyalty and upright nature" and "generous intentions." In the first year of Qianlong's reign (1736), his double salary was suspended. He died three years ago and was given the posthumous title Yi. On the eighth day of the second year of Yongzheng's reign, Yongzheng ordered: On the eighth day of the lunar month, sacrifices were made to Dashe Daji, and Yinli went to pay homage to the emperor. On the ninth day of the lunar month, Yinli offered sacrifices to Confucius on behalf of the emperor.
