It is held every Saturday around 9pm on the side lawn of the Science and Art Center of Xiamen University. A group of people sat together, played the piano, sang, and talked all night long. The only requirement for participants is interest, which is not necessarily related to whether you can play the guitar. The accompaniment instruments include acoustic guitar, tambourine, mouth organ, maracas, etc., absolutely unplugged. One string is lonely, but six strings together are a carnival. The lawn salon on a Saturday night with a cool breeze and a summer night is so relaxing, beautiful, so pure and warm in our hearts.

Guitar training taught by experts from the Guitar Association’s teaching department, provides basic teaching classes for guitar beginners and students who like guitar but cannot play (zero foundation). Our aim is to allow every student to learn well, quickly and well; our commitment is to enable every student to play their favorite songs through practice. At the same time, we will also select cheap and high-quality guitars for students who want to learn guitar but do not have an instrument. We will decide whether to open guitar improvement classes and ukulele classes based on the recruitment of new students. We will teach music theory and fingerstyle playing techniques in a small class format to improve the level of guitar playing. Students with a certain foundation are welcome to sign up. We will organize various forms of music exchanges from time to time to bring together music lovers from all walks of life, so that everyone can get happiness and improvement in the exchanges. The Guitar Association holds more than two guitar concerts every year, which is a platform for sharing music, showing oneself, and exchanging piano skills.
