Buddhist insights into life by looking down on everything

1. Some things are destined to have no fate with you. No matter how hard you force them, they will eventually leave you. Some people can only act as spectators in your life. No matter how much you miss them, all your desires will be lost in the end. Still dissolving slowly. After all, what we can have is limited. Don’t let bottomless desires bury the original joy and happiness!

2. The needs of life are like eating. You can only eat two bowls of food. If you eat two more bowls because you are greedy for the fragrance of the food, not only will you not be able to enjoy the benefits of eating more, but you will suffer from it because your stomach cannot bear it. Bring pain. It can be seen that getting is not necessarily enjoyment. Don't compare with others, learn not to be greedy, not to ask for extravagant things, to be peaceful and contented.

3. This world may seem noisy, full of people of all kinds, and full of mud and sand, but in essence, it is still your own world. If you are clear, the world will be clean; if you are simple, the world will not be complicated. If you don't hesitate, there will be no ambiguity in the world. If you don't give in half-heartedly, the world will not be half-black and half-white for you.

4. The pain in life comes from not being able to live with yourself. The eye is for aesthetics, but ends up getting entangled in ugliness, and ends up judging the ugliness; the heart is for collecting happiness, but ends up getting stuck in care, and ends up feeling pain. Always obsessed with difficulties, we crowd out the happiness that originally belongs to us. Abandon the hustle and bustle and embrace tranquility; give up luxury but enjoy warmth; lose worries but gain happiness. This is called life.

5. Whatever is supposed to come will come, whatever is supposed to go will go. Dependences arise and perish. Eventually, go with the flow. Go with the flow. Don’t force it; when encountering any situation, face it, accept it, deal with it, and let it go. Not demanding. I came with an empty skin, and left with nothing. My life was nothing more than this for decades.

6. In this world, no matter how you live, there will be people who will gossip and no matter what you do, there will be people who will criticize you. No matter how well you do, there are always people who say you are not good, no matter how right you are, there are always people who say you are wrong. There is nothing that is not commented on, and there is no person that is not discussed. It is difficult to be a human being, it is difficult to appeal to the hearts of thousands, and it is difficult to mobilize a large population. so! How to be happy, how to live. Use addition to love, use subtraction to resent, and use multiplication to be grateful.

7. The meaning of life is to experience all kinds of hardships and hardships, to get out of confusion, and to sublimate through hardships, so as to become a life attitude of gratitude and cherishment, rather than being entangled in Those unbearable pasts have made people’s lives entangled in endless pain. Happiness is never easy to come by, so you might as well use a normal heart to be content and know your happiness.

8. Destiny will not owe anyone anything. Only after you have tasted too much bitterness can you realize the taste of sweetness. It is useless to lament. Instead of complaining where you are, it is better to move forward arduously. Even if you move a little, the mountain is heavy. Connecting the water and restoring it, the dark willows pave the way for the bright flowers. Life won't be too bad, both ups and downs are experiences, both good and bad have scenery. As long as time is not wasted, the road will be wider at your feet. Always maintain a childlike innocence and live a happy life.

9. Life is short and things are unpredictable. Why care so much about everything, let alone worry about everything. A person's life only lasts a hundred years. There is no need to be too demanding or extravagant about anything. Do what you want to do, love what you want to love. Try to live a good life every day, leisurely watch the flowers blooming and falling in front of the court, and look at the clouds rolling in the sky in the distance. Too many demands will lead to more troubles; too many extravagant expectations will lead to even greater pain.

10. When you know someone, you don’t need to exhaust your words, but keep some words; when you blame someone, you don’t need to be harsh, but keep some capacity; when you have talents, you don’t need to be arrogant, but keep some connotations; when you know someone, you don’t need to expose them all, but keep some depth; when you have merit, you don’t need to exhaust them. When you receive all the invitations, leave some room for humility; when you get favors, don't fight for them all, leave some room for tolerance; when you get favors, don't rely on them all, leave some way out; when you get favors, don't rely on them all, leave some kindness; don't have to enjoy all the wealth and honor, leave some blessings; don't do everything. , leave some residual virtue.

11. On the road of life, there may be success or bumps. A safe body is not as good as a safe mind; a wide house is not as good as a wide heart. Use the way of nature to nourish the body of nature; use the body of joy to nourish the spirit of joy. The so-called happiness is not more wealth but less desire. When doing things, being sensible comes first, followed by diligence. In life, you must learn not to complain, not to wait, and not to follow blindly.

12. Life is full of flavors, love is the strongest, life is prosperous, lightness is the truest, life is a journey, there is scenery step by step, and there is a journey of understanding. No matter how time goes by, some things will not change. That is the pursuit of beauty, the desire for true love, give yourself a sense of indifference, do not be trapped in love, have no regrets in your heart, have no regrets in life, be fulfilled in life, have peace of mind, keep a pure heart, just be indifferent .

13. If your heart is small, small things will be big; if your heart is big, big things will be small; if you look down on the vicissitudes of the world, you will feel safe inside. With a big heart, you can tolerate things in the world; with a humble heart, you love the goodness of the world; with a calm heart, you can discuss the affairs of the world; with a calm heart, you can respond to changes in the world. Great and difficult things depend on responsibility, adversity and good times depend on mind-set, perseverance and perseverance depend on wisdom, success and failure depend on persistence.

14. There is no real despair in life. The tree lays down its fallen leaves in autumn, and my heart aches, but throughout the winter, it allows my heart to accumulate strength in peace. When spring comes, youth remains. As long as life is in the palm of your hand, there is no despair in life. The success or failure of a moment is just a small cold in a lifetime. If your heart is tired, let it rest. Restoration of the soul is the hope that life will never dry up. ——Master Hsing Yun

15. The Buddha said, it is you who builds the road for you; it is yourself who buries you; it is yourself who helps you; it is yourself who destroys you; What makes you successful is naturally you. Therefore, the Buddha said: Self-made and self-suffering, self-nature can be saved by oneself!

16. The mind is supported by grievances; the troubles are created by oneself; the pain is compared with others; the disease is created by bad habits; the mentality is cultivated by experience; happiness is cultivated by contentment. Yes; health is achieved through activities. Compassion has no enemies, wisdom does not have troubles, only liberation makes you more comfortable, letting go comes naturally and easily. So do what you should do. If you have tried your best, leave the rest to chance and let everything take its course.

17. A person's tolerance comes from a heart that treats others well; a person's self-cultivation comes from a heart that respects others; a person's cultivation comes from a kind heart. Only those who can tolerate others can be tolerated; only those who know how to respect others can gain respect from others; treat others gently and make yourself peaceful everywhere.

18. Buddha said: You must be smart in dealing with things and confused in dealing with others. If you are blessed but not arrogant, there will be no disaster; if you are not afraid of disaster, you will be blessed. Things are judged by responsibility, adversity is judged by mind, joy and anger are judged by self-cultivation, behavior is judged by courage. It’s a blessing to be a little busy, lest you get bored; it’s also a blessing to be a little slandered, lest you become proud. Friendships should be light first and then strong, first loose and then close. Friendships between poverty and poverty can last long, but friendships between interests will only hurt both sides.

19. Life is like this. Gains and losses are unpredictable. Don’t expose your inner fragility easily. Learn to bear everything you should bear. Don’t easily talk about the embarrassment of life. Learn to face the messy and disordered reality. Don’t waste every day easily. One day, because that is the first day of the rest of your life; don't compromise to the world easily, it makes you cry, you have to make yourself laugh while persisting.

20. There is as much pain as there is care in life; there is as much joy as there is tolerance. Pain and joy are reflections of the soul, just like what is in a mirror, determined by what is in front of the mirror. If you can't let it go, it naturally becomes a burden. The more burdens you have, the less happy your life will be. A careless heart is like a bag, a tolerant heart is like a funnel. A complex heart is careless, but a simple heart is easy to be happy.
