John Strohmenger was 86 years old. During the operation of Chapel Piano Company, Strohmenger was located in Bond Street, London. After recovering the management right, strohmenger family did not move it out of Bond Street, but set up retail business and music activities here to completely transform the rented venue. It was not until 1980 that I moved to Ward Street, third floor. The second floor is retail space, and the first floor is music activity space. In the retail field, there are hundreds of sets ranging from mini-upright piano to 9-foot concert dedicated grand piano. As early as 1930, the first Steinmeier piano entered Shanghai, China for the first time by a British merchant ship. During the four-day exhibition, it won orders for upright pianos 144 pianos and 33 pianos from grand piano, far higher than other brands in the same period. After the exhibition, there was an endless stream of dealers who contacted Steinmeier for piano cooperation. Through this exhibition, Mendelssohn piano also saw the good response of Steinmeier piano in Chinese mainland. They finally decided to cooperate deeply and set up a production base in China and Shanghai.
