According to the inquiry of official website, the People's Government of huadian city, Huadian Expressway Project, officially named "Huadian Section of Changchun Expressway", is a key infrastructure construction project in Jilin City and even Jilin Province. Construction started at the end of 2020 and was completed on July 28, 2023.

The entire length of Huadian section of the expressway is 1 15.8km, with four lanes in both directions, 60 bridges, 66 culverts 176 tunnels 10, 3 service areas and 5 interchanges.
