Beijing Olympic countdown 100 theme song
On the morning of April 17, 2008, the theme song release ceremony of "Welcome to Beijing" was held in Beijing Capital Museum. On the occasion of the countdown to the Beijing Olympic Games 100 days, BOCOG launched the theme song "Welcome to Beijing" sung by 100 singers.
This is the first time that the Organizing Committee for the Solicitation and Selection of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, China Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. and Beijing Municipal Bureau of Cultural Relics have joined hands again after successfully launching the theme song "We are Ready" for the first anniversary of the countdown to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, and invited hundreds of singers at home and abroad to perform passionately, bringing together almost all the popular singers in Chinese pop music. In this special way, they sent invitations to the whole world, warmly embraced Beijing Olympic guests with music and cheered for the Olympics with music.
As the sound sign of the countdown to the Beijing Olympic Games100th day, the theme of "Welcome to Beijing" is "One World, One Dream". From the perspective of ordinary people in Beijing, it expresses people's happy mood with folk songs and welcomes the guests of the Beijing Olympic Games with warm notes. This song was jointly planned by BOCOG Culture Department and China Mobile. Lin, a famous Hong Kong musician, wrote lyrics, while Xiao Ke, a musician from Chinese mainland, composed music, and Xiao Ke, Yu served as producers.
"Welcome to Beijing" made its world premiere on April 6-7, 2008 in many radio stations across the country.
"Welcome to Beijing" was jointly written by Lin, a famous musician from Hong Kong, and Xiao Ke, a famous musician from the Mainland. As many as 100 singers participated in the recording. According to Zhao Dongming, director of BOCOG Cultural Activities Department, the song "Welcome to Beijing" took only one and a half months from the beginning of March to the completion. However, the recorded material files are as many as 1 1g, and the sample lyrics are completed in five days. In two weeks, the recording, plane photography and interview of 100 singers were completed, and all post-production was completed in six days. This documentary only took more than 7,000 minutes, and more than 200 staff members worked hard and sweated for its birth. In the process of creation, almost every participant has a touching story. In this team, there are no stars, no big names, only Olympic contestants, all of whom give up fame and fortune, make selfless contributions to the Olympics, and have no regrets. Many singers took the initiative to sign up after hearing about this activity, and some even turned off Shang Yan and made a special trip to Beijing to participate in the recording at their own expense.
