There are over 50 large and small reservoirs in Hong Kong. There are more than ten thousand ponds, dams and weirs. Rich in mineral resources, there are many non-ferrous metals such as copper, iron, lead and zinc, and non-metallic materials such as barite and limestone, which have great mining value.
