The life style of students has changed from day-to-day study to boarding study, and the way of life study has undergone fundamental changes, showing the inadaptability from individual family to collective life, from individual domination to collective unified evening self-study, from family eating to queuing in collective canteens, and from individual laxity to collective restraint. Parents are worried that students are under great psychological pressure. How to improve students' self-care ability, cultivate students' good study and living habits, how to make students adapt to boarding life independent of their parents as soon as possible, how to integrate students into collective life as soon as possible, how to arrange their study life more reasonably, how to make students eat well, live comfortably, learn with peace of mind, and really like boarding life at school. As a life teacher in Hefei No.8 Middle School, combined with my own work experience, communication with students, parents and lecturers, and practical experience in managing students' boarding life, I talked about how to make students adapt to boarding life as soon as possible. In order to make students adapt to boarding life as soon as possible, life teachers should enthusiastically take them to the dormitory one by one after they arrive at school, guide students to make bedding, arrange daily necessities, familiarize themselves with the campus environment, introduce new students, and let students eliminate their sense of loss and loneliness and settle down to study. At the same time, the joint management system of life teachers and class teachers should be established, which requires class teachers to often go deep into boarders, make friends with them, help life teachers manage and communicate with each other, and make teaching and life closely linked. Life teachers live with students, establish close relationships with students, grasp the psychology, life, cooking and learning trends of each boarder, find problems and solve them in time, and truly be a mentor and friend of boarders. (1) Pay attention to life. Boarding students have just left their parents' independent life and never know how to wash their clothes. Under the guidance of their life teachers, they gradually become washing their own clothes and rinsing their shoes. They have overcome the psychological barrier of living by their parents and formed the habit of doing things by themselves. Relying on their parents is not a hero. (2) patience in management. From family life to boarding life, the new environment and discipline constraints are not suitable for boarders, which requires life teachers to convince people with reason and emotion in management, so that boarders can feel warm, never adapt to self-discipline and abide by the management system of boarders, and gradually adapt to multi-person rest from one room and the unified time of boarders from personal control. Be patient with individual boarders, give explanations and guidance, and adapt to boarding life as soon as possible. Life teachers should train students to study and live in a planned way in daily management, so that students can study and live in a planned way and not blindly. They should carefully plan when to take a bath, wash clothes and arrange their free time after class. Most of today's students are only children, spoiled, dependent on their parents for a long time, and grew up with the love and care of their grandparents. They are relatively lack of autonomy and self-reliance, forming a strong sense of self-centeredness, crying for an unsatisfactory test result, worrying about a trivial matter with their classmates, being discouraged from doing something wrong, afraid to take responsibility for damaging public property, and lacking the ability of self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement.
