Humak Song in Youzhou was written by Li Bai when he arrived in Youzhou (now Hebei and northern Liaoning) in the early autumn and winter of Tianbao 11th year of Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (752). At that time, Li Bai went from Liangyuan to Hebei Road and arrived in Youzhou in October.
In the late Tianbao period, the Tang Dynasty constantly provoked wars in the border areas, and the general public suffered greatly. Li Bai wandered in wuyue for several years. At this time, the national situation is getting worse every year. On the one hand, the court was fatuous and corrupt, military equipment was slack, power was reused, and the country was in danger.
