This summer vacation, I went to Northway Primary School, a primary school in Liverpool, England, and spent two happy weeks with English children in class.
These days I have not only gained knowledge, but also gained friendship. When I first arrived at school, I was very shy. Two English children took the initiative to make friends with me and asked, What's your name? I answered carefully: My name is Nano. Then they said: Are you a boy? You're right. I am a man, and I shouldn't be shy. I grew bolder and louder, and slowly began to talk to those two English children. I don't know some English. I just keep saying yes or no. I didn't expect them to understand. I think they really understand others. At noon, everyone is playing or sitting quietly, and I am walking on stilts. They quarreled about who my friend was. One boy pushed another boy, and the boy who was pushed to the ground began to cry. Then the staff came and the war stopped. Well, if I had dissuaded him earlier, the war would not have happened. What if they can't make up later? I hope what I'm worried about is not unexpected. Never.
The next day, I found that my worry was completely unnecessary. In physical education class, the teacher gave us a running competition, and the two of them cooperated well. If this happens in China, no one will talk to anyone, and it will last for several weeks. This happened in a foreign country, and we made up the next day. I was assigned to the red team and they were assigned to the black team. I ran, because the first stick ran fast, so I was far ahead at the beginning and left them far away at once. Oh, no, the red team caught up with me. At this time, I was exhausted. My players kept shouting: Nano! Nano! Nano! The players are cheering for me, so I will finish the last race and never lose to the black team! I tried my best to feel the golden light on my head and finally successfully handed the baton to the next player. I plunged into my seat, drank a whole bottle of water and finished it in a few minutes. Although not the first one, the teacher still said to me: you are great! It seems that China prefers to keep up with the joneses, and it is also a good thing that Britain has surpassed itself.
