In the third year of Jingtai in Ming Dynasty (1452), Manjuji moved to the east of Haifeng County (now Zhongshan West Road, Longmen Community, Haicheng Town, the former County Federation of Trade Unions), with a total area of more than 7,000 square meters and a construction area of about 2,000 square meters. The front seat is the Heavenly King Hall, the middle seat is the Ursa Hall, the front of the main hall is the Yangcheng and the platform, and the back seat is the Guanyin Hall. Zen Hall, Dharma Hall, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Sengliao, Ji Xiang Kitchen, etc. Built on both sides of the temple, there is an entrance archway and east-west walls in front of Tianwang Temple, and the outside of the entrance is called "Miaoqian Street" (now Zhongshan West Road).
In the 20th year of Wanli (1592), the eminent monk opened the light (Liancheng, Fujian), revived Haifeng Buddhism, started a mountain to build a temple, preached dharma and lit lamps, opened an altar to spread precepts, and expanded the scope of monks. Thanks to the contributions of Haifeng, Yin Fu, Yao Yingming (whose ancestral home is Liancheng), Huang Qing, Ye Zhu and others, Wanshantang (also known as Kannonji, located in the north of Manjuji, sitting west to east) was established as a branch of the temple, and later Wanshoutang was rebuilt. At the end of the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, a monk, Pu Sheng, lived in the temple.
In September of the 4th year of Guangxu (1878), Mr. Guo Yin, the abbot of Manjuji, led elders Haifeng, Guishan (now Huidong) and Lufeng to rebuild the tomb tower of the Buddhist monk in the Ming Dynasty and the grand master in the Qing Dynasty, which was located on the side of Shishi Mountain in the north of the county seat, and more than 30 grand masters were buried. Since the 13th year of the Republic of China (1924), due to the political turmoil, the original tomb tower was lost and occupied by lay people. Today, there are three tombs of monks in the Qing Dynasty behind the Lotus Temple on the top of the Lotus Hill in Wangxin, Haicheng Town, Daidoji North and Shuanggui Village. The inscriptions on the tombs and pagodas of ancestors in past dynasties are of certain value to the study of Buddhist history and the origin of sects in Haifeng, Ming and Qing Dynasties.
After the failure of the Great Revolution, the Kuomintang party headquarters in Haifeng County was located in Manjuji. /kloc-in the autumn of 0/943, the meditation hall on the left side of the temple was used as a primary school in Dong Tian Town. The founder was Chen Qian, who recruited students from Dongcheng Society, Dongwan Society and Gaotian Society.
