Green lotus flowers grow by the quiet spring, and the morning sun reflects them brightly.
In autumn, hibiscus is lifted from the green water, and thick round leaves are covered with wisps of clouds.
Their beautiful faces and fragrant breath are unparalleled, but who will recommend them?
seeing the autumn frost getting thicker, it is inevitable that the beauty will fade when the autumn wind is strong.

creative background
in the late Tang Xuanzong, politics changed from enlightened to corrupt. He dotes on eunuchs, making these people rely on their power to extort money. "So those whose homes, gardens and fields are famous by Chinese people are semi-capital." (Biography of the Official in the New Tang Dynasty) Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty also liked the game of cockfighting. According to the story of the old father in Dongcheng written by Chen Hong of the Tang Dynasty, Jia Chang, who was called "the chicken boy" at that time, was blessed by the emperor, "thanks to gold and silk, the day will come to his home", and a folk song said, "Jia's children are thirteen years old, and wealth and splendor are not as good as the generation." These eunuchs and chickens are arrogant and arrogant. At that time, Li Bai was in Chang 'an and deeply felt the corruption of the upper rulers. This "Antique" is a profound caricature for the reality at that time.
Appreciation of Works
There are fifty-nine poems in Li Bai's "Ancient Style", which is the twenty-sixth one. Looking at poetry should be done shortly before the imperial edict, in his forties, perhaps with a little white hair dyed on his temples, which makes him deeply moved. This poem implies his talent, virtue and purity by means of Bichi Furong, and hopes to recommend it to the emperor. The first eight sentences of the poem are about the luxurious life and arrogance of eunuchs and chickens. The poet did not give a comprehensive description of the lives of these lucky villains, but just intercepted two scenes on the avenue of Beijing and skillfully sketched them in front of the readers.
this poem has a brisk rhythm. The whole poem takes the lotus as a metaphor, which is a poem about objects. Write the beauty of lotus, with "bright" and "fresh"; Divided into "flowers", "leaves", "color" and "fragrance"; Accompanied by "Asahi", "green water" and "smoke". Write about the misfortune of the lotus, saying "empty" and "withered". The words "Mao" and "Luo" in "Autumn flowers are green and dense leaves are green" are extremely in place, and they are sharp and enthusiastic, and they are collected. "If the roots are not found, I would like to trust the side of Huachi": Huachi, the pool of Fanghua. The last two sentences express the willingness to actively join the WTO.
The author expresses his confidence in his noble character by means of expressing his will. Writing about the beautiful flower face and fragrance of lotus flowers is unparalleled, implying that you are noble and clean. The sigh of the passage of time. Although there is peerless beauty in writing lotus flowers, because "the roots have not been found", no one can convey its fragrance, but it can only wither and express its talent. However, because there is no recommendation, it is impossible to make achievements, and it is emotional to sit and watch the years pass. ③ Desire to be reused by the imperial court. At the end, "I wish to hold the edge of the pool in China" expresses that I hope to be recommended and valued by the court, just like lotus flowers hope to grow in a gorgeous pool.
