In recent years, influenced by the international drug tide, the domestic drug problem has been developing and spreading, and teenagers have become the main victims of drugs. At the same time, the drug problem has become one of the direct causes of juvenile delinquency. In order to further understand the current situation, characteristics and laws of adolescent drug abuse in our province and explore its new trends and deep-seated reasons under the socialist market economy system, the author mainly conducted a social investigation on the current juvenile delinquency. The investigation is hereby notified as follows:
I. Characteristics and trends
1, the number of drug addicts is increasing.
In recent years, the situation of drug abuse among teenagers in Tianjin is on the rise and spreading. Most drug addicts are unemployed, dropouts or some idle people in society. According to statistics, teenagers account for 70% of drug addicts, most of whom are under 34 years old, and most of them are under 29 years old who take new drugs. Traditionally, for every 1 case of explicit drug users, there are actually 10 cases of invisible drug users, and the number is even more amazing.
2. The education level of drug addicts is generally low.
Judging from the registered drug addicts in various districts and our survey of drug addicts, the education level is generally low. Junior high schools and primary schools are the most educated, and some of them are illiterate. For example, 200 1, among the 296 1 compulsory drug addicts in the province, 438 in primary schools, 2,405 in junior high schools, 8 1.2% and 67 illiterate people, and in fact, 50% passed the test and the statistical education level.
3. It has the characteristics of group drug abuse.
Juvenile drug addicts have gradually developed from individual drug use to group drug use in the past, and have chosen a certain fixed place. Zhengzhou City once captured more than 30 young men and women taking drugs in a guest house in Erqi District. Compared with individual drug abuse, gang drug abuse affects each other and is more harmful.
There are more traffickers and smokers.
Because drug abuse costs a lot of money, some teenagers have changed from simple drug addicts to drug traffickers, from drug victims to perpetrators, and embarked on the road of drug crimes. In our investigation, we found that nearly half of drug offenders are both drug traffickers and drug addicts, and the two are intertwined, forming a vicious circle.
5. The recurrence rate is still high.
According to the survey, almost everyone wants to quit drugs and tries to quit drugs. However, because drugs have a great impact on the physiology and psychology of drug addicts, once they are contaminated, it is difficult to quit drug addiction and it is easy to form the phenomenon of drug addiction-detoxification-relapse-reeducation through labor. According to the statistics of compulsory detoxification centers, the comprehensive relapse rate of drug addicts in our city is about 80%, including 70% in one year, more than 80% in two years and more than 90% in three years.
Second, the harm caused.
1, which harms the physical and mental health of teenagers.
All kinds of drugs do serious harm to human body, especially to teenagers with immature physical and mental development. Drug abuse not only leads to poor memory, severe malnutrition and decreased resistance of teenagers, but also affects people's nervous system psychologically, making drug addicts have a strong thirst for drugs, gradually destroying their spirit and will, making them degenerate, morally bankrupt, and appearing personality disintegration and psychopathy. For example, some people who are addicted to drugs and can't get drugs, in order to alleviate drug addiction, use self-mutilation methods such as cutting their fingers, cutting their arms and burning cigarette butts, and even commit suicide.
2, seriously affecting family life.
According to the survey, a drug addict needs 1 1,000-11,000 yuan every day. Therefore, a drug addict often makes the savings at home run out quickly. When drug addicts are addicted to drugs and have no money to buy drugs, they will sell or even steal the property at home, making the family poor and bankrupt, which will inevitably lead to discord among family members, eventually leading to family breakdown, family separation, relatives turning against each other and even hurting family members. It can be said that "one person takes drugs and the whole family suffers." At the same time, because drug addicts often take drugs by intramuscular injection or subcutaneous injection, many people use needles or syringes that are not strictly disinfected to spread skin diseases, liver diseases, sexually transmitted diseases and even AIDS, which brings great hidden dangers and harms to the health of their families.
3. It is easy to cause criminal offences.
Drug abuse is high consumption. Generally speaking, it is impossible to maintain high consumption with normal legal income. In order to pay huge drug money, drug addicts often take risks and try their best to bring great harm to society. Judging from a large number of facts, male drug addicts not only use drug trafficking and other methods, but also use criminal means such as theft, robbery and fraud to obtain property for drug abuse. Female drug addicts exchange sex for property, support prostitution and engage in illegal and criminal activities. According to statistics, in 200 1 year, there were more than 4,600 criminal cases and nearly 6,000 public security cases induced by drug abuse, which seriously affected social stability and brought great harm to people's lives and property.
Third, the reason analysis
1, curious. Adolescence is a period when the world outlook and outlook on life have not yet been formed, and there is a strong curiosity and desire to explore everything. In the conversation with drug-addicted teenagers, we found that most teenagers' initial contact with drugs was often driven by curiosity, did not understand the harm of drugs, and fell into a wrong path with luck. According to the statistics of drug rehabilitation center, 70% people are addicted to drugs because of curiosity and temptation.
2. The family environment is not good. Investigation shows that many teenagers' drug addiction is the result of words and deeds of their parents or other family members. In addition to the drug abuse behavior of family members, some parents are divorced or go out for a long time, and their children can't get a normal education, all of which are the reasons for teenagers to take drugs.
3. Personal friends were cheated by accident. Teenagers lack resolution and poor interpersonal skills, and are easily influenced by friends and neighbors around them. Moreover, they are brothers in communication and have a strong blind obedience psychology. According to the survey, among drug addicts, more than 70% take drugs because their friends are curious and fashionable, and they take drugs after being lured by their friends.
4. Weakening of education management. Teenagers' anti-drug publicity and education methods are relatively backward. In the survey, more than 60% drug addicts lack knowledge and understanding of drugs. In addition, the assistance, education, management and control of drug addicts are weak, and a considerable number of drug addicts are discriminated against, lacking care and help, leading to self-abandonment, hatred of society and families, and embarking on the road of illegal crimes.
Fourth, prevention and control measures
1. Reject drugs by reasoning and strengthen anti-drug publicity and education. Anti-drug publicity and education is a social work, and we should pay attention to the organic combination of school education, family education and social education. At present, there is no anti-drug teaching material suitable for teenagers in China. Relevant departments should organize their efforts to compile anti-drug teaching materials for young students as soon as possible, incorporate anti-drug education into moral education, and make anti-drug education in schools standardized and regular. It is necessary to increase the social propaganda of drug control work, carry out publicity activities to create a "drug-free community", keep young people away from drugs, make drug control and drug control concepts deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and enhance the awareness of the broad masses of the people, especially young people. Relying on communities and schools, we will expand the influence of anti-drug education, constantly improve parents' anti-drug awareness and family education management level, let anti-drug education enter schools, communities and families, and build a strong anti-drug defense line.
2, drug control according to law, increase the crackdown on drug crimes. Cracking down on all kinds of drug crimes and eliminating drug sources are the fundamental means to reduce and eliminate drug abuse. Practice has proved that the fundamental way to curb drug crimes and reduce young people's drug abuse is to intensify the crackdown on drug planting, control and trafficking crimes, and carry out a special struggle against drugs, especially to maintain a high-pressure situation against criminals who seduce, force, instigate, shelter and deceive others.
3, detoxification with affection, do a good job in the management of drug addicts. For teenagers who have been addicted to drugs, the key is to do a good job in detoxification and education management, so that they can get rid of the drug demon as soon as possible. On the one hand, we should strengthen the construction of drug rehabilitation centers and improve the level and quality of drug rehabilitation. On the other hand, we should do a good job in helping and educating drug addicts and establish a social pre-control system for drug addicts. Teenagers who take drugs themselves are victims, so society, families, schools and units should not discriminate against them and let themselves go and create favorable conditions for their detoxification. In particular, the anti-drug department should establish a return visit system for teenagers after detoxification, and grassroots neighborhood committees and youth league organizations should establish contact with them, help educate them, help their families do a good job in education management, and keep them away from drugs and cherish their lives. At the same time, it is necessary to provide services and help for young people after drug rehabilitation to find jobs and go to school, rebuild their confidence in life and grow up healthily at an early date.
