In At this Kite Festival’s New Kite Culture Development Seminar, some kite industry associations, kite inheritors, media representatives, etc. By invitation, traditional folk craft skills and kite flying skills are taught through kite making and flying experiences.

In the early stage of the Kite Festival, as a warm-up, the Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and the Beijing Kite Association carried out kite master activities on campus, teaching international students in Beijing how to make kites and fly kites, and combine the spread of kite culture with making friends. The combination not only allows foreign friends to understand the cultural connotation behind the kites, but also allows international friends to better understand Beijing’s mass sports activities and the warm and hospitable friendship of the Beijing people. The Beijing Friendship Association also took the lead in organizing the "My Kite Pattern Design Competition" in Beijing universities.

1. Temple of Heaven Park

The white marble tunnel is 2.5 meters high, 28 meters wide and 360 meters long. It is located at the Temple of Heaven and the Qiuqiu Temple. between. The elevated section makes way for surrounding trees, making it perfect for flying kites.

Warm reminder: The greening of Temple of Heaven Park is mainly grass, which does not provide enough shade in summer and is too cold in winter, so the best time to go to Temple of Heaven Park is spring and autumn.

2. Yuan Dadu Ruins Park

With water as the line, the park stretches for 9 kilometers and the ground is flat. There are no high-rise buildings in the park, the greenery is beautiful, and it still smells like an old city.

Warm reminder: Yuan Dadu City Wall Ruins Park is very close to the east gate of the Olympic Sports Center, and the Anzhenmen Subway Station is along the river bank to the west. Of course, the most distinctive feature here is the blooming of crabapples around April 10th every year. The whole park is a sea of ??flowers, very beautiful.

3. China Millennium Monument

Warm reminder: Yuyuantan Park is on the north side of the China Millennium Monument and adjacent to Beijing West Railway Station in the south. Walk west along Chang'an Street and you will arrive at Yuyuantan Park.

4. Haidian Park

The large lawn of Haidian Park is located on the trampling lawn in the middle of the park. It has evergreen, cool season, and sporty characteristics. The evergreen period is more than 280 days. It is a tall fescue lawn mixed with tall fescue. It is resistant to drought, heat, trampling and disease. It's great to fly a kite on this lawn.

Warm reminder: Not all lawns in Haidian Park can be trampled and spread. Only the open area of ????the central lawn in the park can be stepped on and tents can be set up, and other green areas are not allowed to enter.

5. Olympic Forest Park

Olympic Park is sparsely populated and suitable for kite flying. Many parents take their children to experience nature. There are trees, grass, and pavilions in the park, and there are wild ducks and koi carp in the river. The main attractions include undercurrent wetland, Linquan Gaozhi, Tingquanxuan, Caiwantai, etc.

Warm reminder: If there are too many people flying kites in the park, you can go outside the south gate. The large parking lot outside the park is large and suitable for kite flying.
