The pronunciation of the ancient poet Yan Shu is: [yàn shū]. Yan Shu was born in Chunhua, Song Taizong in the second year (99 1). At the age of fourteen, he entered the examination as a child prodigy and was awarded a scholar background. He was appointed as the provincial secretary, the official to the right to advise the doctor, the bachelor of Jixian Hall, the tong Pingzhang and the Tang Dynasty, the minister of punishments, the scholar of Guan Wendian, the minister of war, and Song Renzong for two years (1055).
Yanshou is famous in the literary world for his poems, especially his poetic style. He was called "Da Yan" and "Xiao Yan" with his son Yan, and "tern" with Ouyang Xiu. Also good at poetry and prose, the original collection has been lost. There are traces of words, there are traces of faces, there are traces of words, and only the words 136 are left. The Complete Works of Song Poetry contains 160 poems, 59 residual sentences and 3 bibliographies. There are only 53 articles left in the whole Song Dynasty.
