What kind of nation is Russia?
Let's look back at history: hundreds of years ago, Russians were just a nomadic tribe near Moscow. After a long period of external expansion, of course, it also conquered and even extinct other ethnic groups. Finally, this nation controlled the largest territory in the world. It can be said that it is not too much to describe the Russian nation's demand for territory with the words "it is difficult to fill". When it became the largest country in the world, it still did not slow down the pace of external expansion. The central ruler of Moscow, thousands of miles away, can control his own army to occupy the land of the Great Qing Dynasty, which shows how terrible the expansion ambition of this nation is. Russia became the first country to turn the socialist system from theory into reality, not because the Russians were far-sighted, but because the czar's royal family was corrupt and incompetent. Unfortunately, the socialist system can't change the nature of an aggressive nation, and the birth of the Soviet Union is the proof of "Greater Russia" doctrine. Stalin, the second generation leader of the Soviet Union, was a cruel dictator, just like the tsar of the previous generation. Thousands of Russians died under Stalin in the "great cleansing" movement, including those who had been loyal to him. China's media always exaggerate the Soviet Union's role in World War II. In fact, in the so-called "anti-fascist camp" later, the Soviet Union was the only country that signed a "non-aggression treaty" with Nazi Germany. Perhaps in Stalin's fantasy, cooperating with Hitler who ruled the whole of Western Europe would be the best way to protect the interests of him and the Russian nation. Stalin did not expect that Hitler was carried away by successive victories and laid hands on the "friend" who knelt down to make peace with the East. As a result, the two dictators launched the worst war in human history on the vast frozen wasteland of Russia. As far as this war is concerned, there is no justice at all. We can even regard it as a struggle between two lunatics to realize their respective ambitions. However, when the so-called "Great Patriotic War" was brought into the global anti-fascist framework, the cold and arrogant faces of Russians were given a little "noble" brilliance. It was not Russians who suffered the most in the Great Patriotic War, but foreigners who were conquered by Russia and forcibly brought into their political track, such as Belarus and Ukraine. Stalin put the army mainly composed of Ukrainians and Belarusians on the front line to resist the German army, in fact, he regarded others as cannon fodder, because any strategist knew that the Soviet army "cleaned" by Stalin himself had no experienced commanders, poor equipment and low morale, which was not comparable to the aggressive Nazi army at all. When Stalin knew that the Germans had crossed the line, he probably understood that what he needed was time and adjustment. In front of the German army who was good at Blitzkrieg, what gave him time and opportunity to adjust was to treat the Soviet Union as a "second-class nation" and let it be slaughtered by the Nazis, so as to slow down Hitler's attack on the hinterland of the Soviet Union, that is, the advanced "Russian" settlement. Of course, Stalin, who was preparing for the war, did not forget to "take care of" those nations who did not want to succumb to Russian rule for a long time. In order to avoid a fire in the backyard, he drove 2 million Chechens to Siberia, where the living environment was extremely bad. After the war, only 6.5438 million Chechens returned to their homeland, and the death of millions of compatriots in vain became a national hatred that Chechens will never forget. Then, why should we be surprised when Chechen terrorists broke into the Moscow Grand Theatre with explosives on their backs? The disaster in China's modern history was caused by the Opium War launched by the British, but it was the Russians who caused the people of China the greatest loss in territory and sovereignty. As far as the thousand-year history of the Chinese nation is concerned, our greatest threat basically comes from the north, whether it is Tatars, Huns, Mongols or Russians. China and Russia have made many friends in history, but they didn't last long, because your "friend" is someone who wants to put his hand into your wallet at any time. When dealing with such "friends", we must be vigilant while making good friends.
