Matchmaker is a role in The West Chamber written by Wang Shifu, a dramatist in Yuan Dynasty. Help Cui Yingying and Zhang Sheng, and finally let them have lovers.

Wang Shifu (1260-1336) was born in Dexin and Dadu (now Beijing), and his ancestral home is Dingxing (now Dingxing County), Baoding City, Hebei Province.
