Here are a few parenting books that I recommend that I have read and benefited from:
1. "Sears Encyclopedia of Intimate Parenting"
For new mothers, read This book is very helpful. I agree with the concept of intimate parenting in the book. The key is that the author of this book is a children's doctor himself, and he and his wife *** have raised 8 children. Many of the experiences in the book are practical. It's proven and more reassuring, unlike some parenting books on the market that are just theories and can't even stand up to scrutiny.
This book mainly talks about all aspects of knowledge that you should be concerned about when raising babies aged 0-2 years old. It allows you to understand the progress your baby will make in each month and stage of growth, and to do some basic parenting knowledge and common sense. Know it by heart.
2. "Key Help in Critical Periods"
What touched me the most about this book is how important it is to understand children and their growth patterns. Because of ignorance, many of us are mundane. This behavior is actually killing the child's opportunity to grow and develop.
For example, many elderly people see their children eating their fingers, or they like to grab and pinch everything while eating. If they get everywhere, they will be stopped by the elderly or parents in time. Little do they know that these behaviors are actually a sign of children's brain development. Improper interference and suppression of the life phenomena presented will actually hinder their healthy development.
Understanding the laws of children's growth and development, and providing key help during the critical development period of the child is the best care for the child. This book is a comprehensive summary of Li Yuer's 23 years of experience in the field of children's education, a child education expert and founder of China Ba Academy. It systematically and deeply reveals the life phenomenon of the sensitive period of children aged 0-7 years old, allowing readers to understand the rules of children's growth and better help children grow.
3. "Raising Boys" and "Raising Girls"
These two books are written by the same author. "Raising Girls" is the companion volume of "Raising Boys".
Raising Boys divides a boy's growth into three distinct stages, discusses the impact of testosterone on a boy's mental state, shares their new findings on the structure of a boy's brain, and reveals how fathers and mothers It also provides corresponding suggestions on the role of sports in boys' growth, analyzes the significance and adverse effects of sports on boys, and proposes beneficial methods for boys' sex education. Its core is to help parents how to help their boys grow into men healthily, and there are many practices that can be learned.
Raising girls is very different from that of boys. The development, intelligence, hobbies, friends, learning, and sports of boys and girls are almost completely different. Girls need their mothers more, and boys rely more on their fathers. Of course, parents are important and indispensable to everyone. But you need to understand that what you mean and focus on them will make a significant difference. "Raising Girls" divides girls' growth into five stages and provides analysis and practices one by one.
Finally, the pregnancy preparation book recommends the "Pregnancy Bible", which is helpful for understanding the pregnancy process and the development of the baby at various stages during pregnancy.
