It is reported that the trains on Xijiao Line are obviously different from ordinary subway trains in appearance and interior. From the appearance, the train on the Xijiao Line has five carriages, which looks much smaller than the ordinary subway. In the internal design, the seat arrangement of the first, third and fifth carriages of Xijiao Line is the same as that of most subway carriages at present. Passengers sit with their backs to the window, with six seats on each side, but two or four carriages are similar to train seats, with four seats on each side, which is bounded by the aisle in the middle of the carriage and faces the train direction when riding.
According to the relevant person in charge, the Xijiao Line is about 8.8 kilometers long, with 6 ground stations and 1 depot/kloc-0, of which the underground line is about 2,300 meters. Xijiao Line mainly passes through Xiangshan, Beijing Botanical Garden, Institute of Botany of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Xiangquan Island, Wan 'an Cemetery, Yuquan Country Park, South-to-North Water Diversion Park, Summer Palace, Bagou Station of Metro 10 Line and other areas.
The tram on Xijiao Line will be designed with large glass windows to facilitate passengers to enjoy the beautiful scenery around them in the carriage. The roofs of the first and second carriages are decorated with red maple leaves to highlight the characteristics of trams.
