Nanjing University, referred to as "Nanda" for short, is a comprehensive national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and the Central Government of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is a century-old prestigious school with a long history and outstanding reputation.
China was the first to conduct modern academic research and established the earliest modern scientific research laboratory in China. Second, Southeast University
Southeast University, referred to as "Dongda", is located in Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu Province. It is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and the Central Government of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is one of the old eight universities and the original four engineering universities, and the first batch of national double-class (Class A), 2 1 1 Project and 985 Project key construction universities.
1921June 6, National Southeast University held a board meeting in Shanghai to discuss the articles of association of the board of directors, adopted the organizational outline and prepared the budget of Southeast University, and unanimously recommended Guo Bingwen as the president. Then June 6 will be designated as the anniversary.
Founded in 1902 Sanjiang Normal School, the school has experienced important development periods such as Liangjiang Normal School, Nanjing Higher Normal School, National Southeast University and National Central University.
During the period of 1952, the departments of colleges and universities in China were adjusted and the departments of arts and sciences moved out. The former National Central University School of Engineering was merged into Fudan University, Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University and Jinling University, and Nanjing Institute of Technology was established in the original site of the National Central University.
