Three insights from the HR slash self-media novice in his first year

This article is written for my first anniversary as a self-media novice. I want to thank many people, summarize many insights, respond to many questions, and have a lot of thoughts. After I started writing, I unconsciously wanted to mention three people and the three insights they brought me.

Question: "Why should I create such a public account that focuses on making friends?"

Answer: Because I love making friends and have a certain number of high-quality friends. After a small-scale survey, I determined that there are There is a certain market demand~

After I came to Shanghai with Huang Xiansen last year, I was married but not pregnant, so I encountered unprecedented resistance when looking for a job again. Sometimes I was even interviewed by HR. The problem was so depressing that ten thousand grass mud horses ran through my heart ()?д`()

One day, Wincy asked me how my recent interview status was, and I said silently - In fact, I don’t know why I Just decide to do HR. During the interview, I received some interview calls for other positions, but I rejected them immediately. Afterwards, I thought, if I could be more open to my possibilities, would I have found a more interesting path?

Wincy didn’t know how to explain to me, so she quickly changed the topic and asked me if I had any other hobbies that could make my life more interesting. She also expressed to me that she liked the fact that I introduced a certain friend to her, and also wanted to meet Cy, one of the co-founders of Alexandra Ice Cream, so I immediately facilitated this personal relationship.

Wincy probably never imagined that it was her expression of this question that made me discover something I am very passionate about - introducing friends. As a result, on July 29, 2016, a public account aimed at "making friends more interesting" came into being. (Here, I would also like to thank my friend Katie who encouraged me to open a public account in March 2016. I just blamed me for being young and ignorant at the time...

Ask: "Should I switch to marketing/advertising/ A media company? ”

Answer: I am still an HR~ My official account is an attempt in a new field that I specially set aside from my own job as an HR person. I do my job well, so my main focus is still in the field of HR - work, training and examinations. If you have any questions about human resources or labor law, you are welcome to talk to me ~ I am also very grateful to my two bosses for their work. On the road of "learning", I was given a lot of space and support.

Qi Pa Shuo Season 4 Qi Pa Conference 1 invited Kai-fu Lee, who got straight to the point and put forward the theme: "Artificial intelligence will be in the future. Within ten years, 50% of people will be unemployed. What should we do?" Then, Nuan Nan suggested, because artificial intelligence does not understand humanities, art, entertainment, and distinguishing between humor and beauty, so humans don't need to panic too much. Retrieve the humanities and arts that were lost before, and play with interesting things when you have time

This episode was broadcast on January 20, 2017. Kai-Fu Lee gave a short 5-minute speech. It was very touching. At that time, my official account had been operating for half a year, and the speed of posting began to slow down. I once fell into a bottleneck. When I went to bed at night, I was thinking about whether to open up new topics to attract more readers, and whether to publish in other places. The platform was posting at the same time to increase exposure, etc., which was a bit confusing.

After watching Kai-fu Lee’s speech, I finally had a solid sleep that night. I at least knew that I was doing a public account. I had sensed the crisis in advance and took the initiative to step out of my comfort zone and try to be an interesting and interesting slash young man. Along the way, I learned a lot about how to write a protagonist (in-depth interviews, writing structure, telling stories, and exploring highlights). , improving my thinking and summarizing ability, the surprises and thoughts brought to me by the protagonists and fans, the experience of my seniors in brand promotion, picture and text editing skills, etc., my life was fresh and fulfilling.

Kaifu Lee wrote in "Living to Death: The Death Credits I Learned": Everyone should have their own pursuit of life, and don't just follow others on the same path. What's important is The purpose of life lies precisely in showing one's own character, taking a unique path, and living a life of one's own, but it does not mean leaving something on the epitaph.

Question: "Is my platform a blind date platform?"

Answer: Making friends ≠ blind dates. If I don't do it, I can't be a matchmaker. And I also write about non-single protagonists. There are also many issues where the protagonists are admired by same-sex readers and make friends, so making friends means making friends with the same interests, nothing more. If the protagonist is so lucky to be single, it is also the credit of God Cupid~ In addition, I have also written many issues of entrepreneurs/slash companions~ I am willing to support a lot of interesting souls~

Make a public account In one year, I met many new friends, and the articles I wrote were also liked by some friends. I had endless joy.

This is the first time I discovered that in the field of self-media, it doesn’t work if I want to skip the step of achieving myself and go directly to the step of achieving others.

It was also at that moment that I figured out why I had a soft spot for HR work, because my sense of accomplishment comes more from external recognition than from myself. Because to evaluate whether HR is doing well, it depends on whether it has achieved success for others, the team, and even the organization. The self-achievement part of HR does not need to be publicized. You only need to learn quietly, be solid, and be thorough, and it will be reflected in actual work.

After understanding this truth, I felt a little guilty about the previous protagonists, because I wanted to try a new field, but I failed to switch to a new idea in time. I only thought about writing the protagonist well, instead of focusing on establishing personal IP/platform IP. On the contrary, I have seen that after some individuals/platforms become popular, even if the quality of the content has declined, the attention and reading volume are still very high, and they can still achieve the people or things they market. However, what I want to learn from is of course those brands that have achieved both platform and content success. ah! What a painful realization! Although the number of fans has been growing, those loyal supporters who tell me personally that they must read every issue are not even 1/20 of my number of fans in my impression, and my heart is a little broken (︿)

Above , are the three insights I gained from becoming a self-media novice this year. Life is so interesting when it’s different; it’s interesting when you stick to it~

Finally, I would like to thank all my protagonists for your openness to making friends and your care for me. Trust makes my account full of fun~

Thanks to everyone who has guided, encouraged, and helped me, and thanked everyone who forwarded, rewarded, and liked my articles. If any benefactors need anything in the future, please take this article as a promise, and the little lady will do her best to repay you!

We sincerely invite more friends to self-recommend/recommend reliable friends and become the protagonist/come and play with me. Together, we can "make friends more interesting"~

END.

END.
