The topic of my speech today is: Make friends carefully.

Some time ago, there were several gang fights in our beautiful campus. These events, on the one hand, ruined the reputation of the school, on the other hand, they also left these students with a disgraceful page in their own history. When dealing with these group fights, the teachers in the moral education department found that all these fights have a common feature, that is, the loyalty of these students is serious in their minds. As soon as I heard that my classmates had a fight with others, I left them alone regardless of the willy-nilly. I didn't ask right and wrong, and I did what I shouldn't do. So, turn small things into big things, and turn festivals and contradictions that could have been explained in a few words into vicious events. After the incident, all the students involved regretted it. So, why do these students make such mistakes? Because these students make friends carelessly. The standard for these students to make friends is "brotherhood". This is a kind of loyalty, which is extremely limited and harmful. Students who are loyal to their friends circle themselves in a small group for friendship. They are unprincipled, immoral and undisciplined, and often do stupid things that endanger society, the collective and violate discipline. This kind of brotherhood is not good for yourself, friends, people, country and society. I hope that students with this habit can get rid of this bad habit as soon as possible, make real friends and cultivate healthy friendship.

So what kind of friends should we middle school students make? I think we should make friends with people who are disciplined, diligent, responsible and have a sense of justice. Classmates, true friends, treat each other with sincerity: true friends, treat each other with sincerity: true friends know everything, change as soon as they listen, only trust, no fraud.
