Gulongzhong scenic spot

Longzhong, also known as Gulongzhong, is one of the top ten scenic spots in Hubei and the most famous tourist attraction in Xiangyang, located about 20 miles west of Xiangyang. "The mountain is not high, beautiful and elegant; The water is not deep or clear; The land is not wide and flat; The forest is small and lush; When cranes meet, pines meet pines. " This is Luo Guanzhong's description of Longzhong in Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

With a history of 1.800 years, Gulong was the place where Zhuge Liang lived in seclusion from 1.97 to 2007, and was praised by the world as the first strange man after Xia, Shang and Zhou Dynasties. Zhuge Liang's "cultivating and reading as one" and Liu Bei's "guarding the thatched cottage" led to the "Long Zhong Dui", which is called the cradle of the wise and the cradle of the three worlds. Many relics of his study, friends and life have been preserved here, with a history of 1800 years. The "Ten Scenes in Longzhong" was formed in the Ming Dynasty. After the founding of New China, Longzhong Academy, Zhuge Caolu, Xiaoyin Mountain Villa, Tonggutai, Stargazing Platform, Chessboard Stone and many other scenic spots have been rebuilt one after another.
