Brief introduction of Suzhong
Suzhong is the abbreviation of the central part of Jiangsu Province, which is located in the central part of Jiangsu Province, the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta, the north bank of the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the coast of the Yellow Sea, the dual radiation areas of Shanghai Economic Circle and Nanjing Metropolitan Area, and the southern end of the Jianghuai Plain. East to the Yellow Sea, south to the Yangtze River, invited by Shanghai and southern Jiangsu (Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, Changzhou and Zhenjiang), north to northern Jiangsu (Huai 'an and Yancheng) and west to Chuzhou, Anhui. The three cities in Central Jiangsu are all cities along the Yangtze River, one of the central cities in the Yangtze River Delta 16, and an important part of the Shanghai metropolitan area (Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration). Among them, the land area is 20,900 square kilometers. Suzhong is seizing the national strategic opportunities such as the national Belt and Road strategy, the national Yangtze River Economic Belt construction, the national coastal development strategy, the regional integration of the Yangtze River Delta, the Shanghai Free Trade Zone, the planning and development of the national southern Jiangsu modernization demonstration zone, and the provincial strategic opportunities such as the rise of Suzhong 1, the urbanization development plan of Ningzhenyang, and the comprehensive reform pilot of cross-river integration development. 2. Deepening the development strategy along the Yangtze River, a new round of railway construction in the province and Nanjing metropolitan area have become important economic growth poles in the Yangtze River Delta region. Suzhong was originally an economic concept term. Yangzhou, Taizhou and Nantong, three cities along the Yangtze River, are listed as the objects of policy inclination and assistance, and the convenient appellation is regarded as a general economic term, and then it is gradually listed as a geographical concept term for promotion.
