How to guide students' growth by making friends correctly
For the sake of children's learning and growth, some parents will strictly control their children's choice of making friends to prevent their children from interacting with children who don't like learning or behave badly. As a father of two children, I understand this concern, but I don't fully agree with this approach. In the process of my education with my children's mothers, we do give our children some advice on making friends and have in-depth discussions with them. The following are two principles that we adhere to when guiding children to make friends.

Stay away from lying children

We have taught our children since childhood that honesty is the foundation of being a man. Making mistakes is the only way to grow up, but lying is touching the moral bottom line. Once children are found to have close contact with friends who lie, we will advise them to reduce their contact with such friends. Because the guidance and transmission of values is very important for children's growth.

Avoid vain children

Although our family is not extravagant in material life, we have always taught our children to take what they need and not blindly pursue famous brands and material enjoyment. When children's friends are vain and show off by comparison, we will give them correct guidance and help them establish correct values.
