Marit and Marion The two met in 1990 (when they were about five years old). Due to their love for music, the two became good friends and often performed together for family and friends. Their first record was the children's album Synger Kjente Barnesanger (Sings Famous Children's Songs), recorded in Norwegian when they were eight years old. This album also won the Spillemanspriest (Norway's equivalent of the Grammy Award) for "Best Children's Album" Nominated. Their group name at that time was Marit & Marion.
M2M signed a contract with Atlantic Records in July 1998. The first single "Don't Say You Love Me" was written by M2M and featured by Celine Dion and Jennifer Paige. (Jennifer Paige) album producer *** co-produced it, and became the theme song of the movie "Pokemon: the First Movie". In conjunction with the release of the movie, it has now gained widespread popularity on radio stations across the United States. The song is reverberating and continues to have a fever, with single sales currently ranking fifth and exceeding 40,000 records. M2M's first album Shades Of Purple was released in March 2000. M2M took over all songwriting and invited Spice Girls, Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears... ... Waiting for the album producer of the popular artist group to work hard.
