Fan's Experience in Reading Old Things in the South of the City in Grade Four
Relive the beauty of childhood, feel the true feelings of the world, pass on the power of warmth, and grow all the way. -inscription
During the winter vacation, I read the book Old Things in the South of the City.
"Old Things in the South of the City" mainly tells the story of the little girl Eiko who met Xiuzhen, a "crazy woman", and her little friend Niu when she was living in the south of Beijing. With Eiko's help, the mother and daughter finally got to know each other and decided to look for the girl's biological father "Si Kang". But happiness was too short, and they died tragically under the train wheels. When Eiko moved to Xinmuhu, she met a strange man who stole things for her brother's school ... The man was taken away by plainclothes police, and Eiko was both sad and sad. In order to strengthen parents' feelings and protect their families, Eiko planned the love affair between Aunt Lan and her frequent visitor Uncle Dexian. Eiko's wet nurse Ma Song hasn't come home for three or four years. Recently, her heart has always been out of order, and later she learned that Xiao Shuan fell into the river and drowned. The girl was cruelly handed over to the carriage driver by her husband ... Finally, she listened to her mother's advice and went home. The year Eiko graduated, she received the graduation certificate on behalf of all her classmates at the graduation ceremony. At that time, her father was seriously ill and didn't come ... After the graduation ceremony, Eiko came home and learned that his father had left this world. She understands that my father's flowers have fallen, and I am no longer a child.
I like Eiko best because she feels the desolation of her childhood. After realizing the pain of where you are going, she has always maintained a kind nature and lived a strong and brave life. Around us, lunatics and thieves are looked down upon, and everyone dares not avoid them, but kind and simple Eiko doesn't mind. Through further communication with them, she understood their inner pain and helplessness, sympathized with their experiences and tried her best to help them. Eiko's world is simple. She never closes the doors and windows of her own world and likes to make friends with others. Through Eiko's childish eyes, I saw the joys and sorrows of the adult world.
Lin, the author of Old Things in the South of the City, described the past events in southern Beijing in the 1920s with elegant brushwork, full of nostalgia, and showed Eiko's thinking and confusion about life in Innocence.
There is a saying in this book: No matter what difficulties, just bite the bullet and do it, and you will get through them. This sentence made me understand: No matter what you do, as long as you persist, you will definitely get satisfactory results. We must learn this spirit of not being afraid of difficulties!
Childhood is short and precious, so we should cherish the wonderful time of childhood and give full play to its value as much as possible. Childhood, there are joys and sorrows, there are joys and sorrows, as long as we have love in our hearts and live an optimistic and positive life like Eiko, we will also leave beautiful memories in childhood.
Fan's Experience in Reading Old Things in the South of the City in Grade Four
The title-Old Things in the South of the City gives people a sense of time at first glance, but reading each chapter makes me "discover" a different childhood. It is no accident that I became attached to this book. It originated from an article in a Chinese textbook-Dongyang Childhood Camel Team. Because I love the story in this book, I specially let the author read it.
Old Things in the South of the City is a childhood memoir of Lin, a female writer. Six short stories are written in this book. Eiko is the key figure in the whole book. The book describes the growth experience of the little girl Eiko from the age of seven to thirteen. Every story touched me, and behind it was deep sympathy and inexplicable sadness.
Eiko in the story has experienced many growth and changes, and because of this, the characters begin to enter the story at the same time and penetrate into Eiko's life: Xiuzhen, who is called a madman in Hui 'an Museum, a thick-lipped young man who is helpless as a thief in his brother's school, Uncle Dexian who lives in the shelter of Eiko's house, and Aunt Lan, a servant of Mozi's house, all of whom are very important in Eiko's growth.
What impressed me the most was Huian Pavilion. Xiuzhen, the protagonist of this story, is a woman who was regarded as crazy in her twenties. The story tells that she fell in love with Si Kang, a Peking University student who stayed in Hui 'an Pavilion, and gave birth to a precious child, who was left at the foot of Qihuamen City by her mother. Finally, Xiuzhen went crazy because of her disappearance. Finally, with the help of Eiko, Xiuzhen found her daughter, and the mother and daughter reunited, but in the end Xiuzhen and her daughter were reunited.
At that time, Eiko was still a child. Such a weak child knows what love is. She treats "crazy people" with innocence and love, and helps people with bad karma with her meager strength. Although the story ends in tragedy, there is silent love and deep warmth behind the tragedy. But it reminds me of a sentence, "Give someone a rose, and your hand has a lingering fragrance. Life is easy, life is easy, life is not easy, and it is even harder to live well. Living and loving, even if this love is as small as a straw, has nothing to do with warmth, and can't save people from fire and water. However, holding it in your hand is still a thought.
"My father's flowers have fallen, and I am no longer a child." The story tells that the hero graduated from primary school, but his father fell ill and finally passed away. The story uses "my father's flowers have fallen" to symbolize my father's death and place my deep thoughts on my father. Thankfully, the "I" in the story has really grown up. Although the ending of the story is sad, it makes us understand that there will be many setbacks and misfortunes in life. We should bravely accept the facts and face the future life. One of the top ten disappointments in life is _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
After closing the book, I can't be calm for a long time. A strong Eiko, a compassionate Eiko, and a patient Eiko have taught me a lot to face setbacks bravely, to love and face life with a smile, and I believe tomorrow will be better.
The author's childhood is gone forever, and mine continues. I will cherish everything I meet, the people around me and the things I have experienced, and I will keep them in my heart. Thinking of a certain day in a month, I will also pick up a pen and record the pearl-like past.
Experience of reading "Old Things in the South of the City" in the fourth grade Fan Wensan
The first chapter of Old Things in the South of the City is the story of Xiaoying, the protagonist, who just arrived in Beijing.
Xiaoying has just arrived in Beijing and is very interested in everything. On one occasion, she went to Hui 'an Pavilion behind her family's back. She met Xiuzhen and heard her story. She helped the girl in the grocery store and became good friends with her. One day, Xiaoying's father bought a new pen and ink and a pile of red paper. Every night, Xiaoying draws a picture. In the morning, Xiaoying went to Hui 'an Pavilion to find Xiuzhen. In the afternoon, the girl came to the West Chamber to find her. In the evening, she painted the scarlet letter, and the days passed. Later, Xiao Yingcai discovered that the cow was Xiuzhen's daughter who missed day and night. So, mother and daughter reunited.
I read the first chapter of Old Things in the South of the City, and I think Xiaoying is a lively, lovely, helpful and bold little girl. Xiaoying helped the girl in the grocery store to prevent her from being bullied by those adults. She also helped Xiuzhen find the daughter she talked about all day. In our life, we should always help others. Maybe the people you help will become good friends with you. When others need help, we should not hesitate to lend a helping hand. In this way, when you encounter difficulties, others will help you through them.
Xiaoying is still very bold, which I don't have, so I have to learn from her all the more. Xiaoying did not stay away from Huian Pavilion like other children, but boldly went in to find out. We are the same. When encountering difficulties, we must never shrink back, but make bold progress to overcome this difficulty.
Looking back, is it bold to help others like Xiaoying sometimes? When students encounter inconvenience, lend a helping hand to help them; When encountering problems, ask teachers, classmates or parents boldly.
Childhood is beautiful and happy. Let's create a beautiful and happy childhood of our own.
Fan's Experience in Reading Old Things in the South of the City in Grade Four
Recently, the school issued a book called Old Things in the South of the City. After reading the title, I liked it immediately. "Old events in the south of the city", what a simple and warm name!
Through Eiko's eyes, the novel describes the joys and sorrows of the adult world and tells the story of old Beijing in the 1920s. In The Legend of Hui 'an Pavilion, the hero Eiko secretly meets the madman Xiuzhen in Hui 'an Pavilion without telling the adults. Xiuzhen told her that her precious cassia was missing. So Eiko helped her find it. But I found it. That was her little buddy girl, but Xiuzhen took her away without mercy.
I like a famous saying by Lin Shuli, the author of Old Things in the South of the City: Every progress depends on my own strength, and I am ashamed of being pitied.
Yes, every progress depends on our own strength. I think learning to skate is easy. Isn't it just walking? I just changed a pair of shoes! But this is not the case. I put on my skates with dignity and stood up confidently. But as soon as we got together, the wheels under our feet began to dance naughtily. My steps are out of order. Although I kept my balance with open arms, I fell on a dog and gnawed at the mud. My mother helped me move forward step by step. This scene is really like a kind-hearted person helping grandma cross the street! I don't want to be a grandmother! So, I threw off my mother's arm and slipped down. Gradually, I can stand still.
I don't know how many falls I've had, but I can start walking slowly. I don't know how many times I practiced, but I skate very fast. I sped forward, and a feeling of freedom came to my mind. I opened my arms and felt the breeze blowing through my cheeks, arms, legs and hair. My hair seems to be as happy as mine, dancing and singing "rustling" ...
"Every progress depends on my own strength, and I am ashamed of being pitied." Every time I encounter difficulties, this sentence always echoes in my ears.
Fan's Experience in Reading Old Things in the South of the City in Grade Four
"Old Things in the South of the City" is a memoir written by Lin, a female writer, which tells her thoughts about the south of old Beijing where she lived as a child. Through the childish eyes of the protagonist Eiko, the joys and sorrows of the world are displayed.
In the old story of the south of the city, all kinds of people spent her unforgettable childhood with Eiko ... The first chapter is Camel Team in Dongyang's Childhood, which is also the preface of Old Things in the South of the City. Eiko learned to chew a camel in the winter sunshine, asked his father why he tied the bell, wanted to cut off the camel's belly, and asked his mother where the camel went in the spring. When I read that naive Eiko learned to chew camels, I couldn't help laughing. What a lovely and innocent child! Childhood is the happiest and most carefree time.
In this age full of innocence, everyone has done stupid things, even Xiaoying. The second chapter is called Huian Pavilion. Eiko met Xiuzhen and Niuniu and helped them meet again. How touching! The third chapter is Let's Go to the seaside, which tells the story of Eiko and the thief. He is Eiko's confidant, but Xiao Yingzi betrayed him unintentionally ... These chapters vividly depict the characters with distinct personalities and express Eiko's nostalgia for childhood and yearning for the south of old Beijing.
We seem to hear her sigh gently, and her sadness about the passage of time, childhood attachment and much transformed things. I want to seize my childhood, but I only have memories. That wonderful time "slipped away" quietly, getting farther and farther. ...
