Twenty years later, another ancient architecture expert, Liu Huida, came to Xingtai to investigate Xingtai Pure Earth Temple:
Jingtu Temple There is a Jingtu Temple in the northeast of Tianning Temple. In the Song Dynasty, it was named Jingtu Temple, which has been abandoned for a long time. Now, there are two important cultural relics: Song Monument and Yuan Tower.
In Xingtai local chronicles, there are few records about Jingtu Temple. Among them, the records in the Qianlong edition of Shunde Fuzhi are written like this:
The Jingtu Temple in the northeast of Tianning Temple was built in the first year of the early Yuan Dynasty, and this temple was rebuilt in the early Song Dynasty, so it didn't start in the early Yuan Dynasty ... According to old books, it was said that the temple was a relic of the Buddha's tucheng, and there was no doubt at first.
We can't help but say that Jingtu Temple is a historical figure related to Jingtu Temple. This person is the monk Wan Xiu.
Wan Xiu (1 166— 1246) was born in Huaiqing, Henan Province, and his common name was Cai. At the age of fifteen, he went to Xingzhou Jingtu Temple to praise the monk's tonsure. After learning the precepts, he went to Yan (Beijing) to meet Sheng Moguang, a descendant of Xueyan people, who presided over Qingshou Temple. Half a year later, Sheng Moguang recommended Song Wan to visit Master Xue Yanman in daming temple, Magnetic State. Enlightened under the guidance of two masters, there is a snowy shore full of enlightenment in the Record of the Continued Moon:
When you are sitting on the line, when your mind is not up, you suddenly see it when you mention it. Take a rest if you don't see it, and it won't prevent you from participating in the study.
Ask him to give up the judgment of participating in death, get stuck in the text, and enlighten Song Wan for the purpose of Zen epiphany. Suddenly, there was a province in Song Wan. "Looking back, Xuansha was unclear.". After asking for benefits, Xueyan said:
There are horns on the head, minions on the feet and hands, and then beg for sticks to eat.
