It is reported that the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television has promulgated the Measures for the Administration of Broadcasting of Radio and Television Advertisements, which clearly requires that in the future, the commercial duration of each program of broadcasters should not exceed 12 minutes per hour, and the commercial duration of TV dramas should not exceed 90 seconds at a time.
The Measures stipulate that radio and television advertisements should be rationally distributed. The total amount of commercial advertisements should be controlled and the distribution should be balanced. The broadcast of radio and television advertisements shall not affect the integrity of radio and television programs, and advertisements shall not be inserted at will except during the natural time of the programs. The commercial duration of each program of the broadcasting organization shall not exceed 12 minutes per hour. The radio station is between 1 1: 00 and 13: 00, and the TV station is between 19: 00 and 2 1: 00. The total duration of commercial advertisements shall not exceed 18 minutes. Under special circumstances such as broadcasting and live broadcast, commercial advertisements can be postponed. The daily broadcast duration of the public service advertisement of each program of the broadcasting organization shall not be less than 3% of the commercial advertisement duration. The radio station is between 1 1: 00 and 13: 00, and the TV station is between 19: 00 and 2 1: 00. The number of public service advertisements shall not be less than 4 times (times). When a TV series is broadcast, commercial advertisements can be inserted twice in each episode, and the duration of each time should not exceed 90 seconds. When the TV series is broadcast between 19:00-2 1:00, 1 advertisement can be inserted in each episode, and the duration shall not exceed 1 minute. When playing movies, the duration and times of commercial advertisements shall be implemented with reference to the provisions of the preceding paragraph. These Measures shall come into force as of 201010/.
In addition to putting a "curse" on TV advertisements, the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television has also issued regulations prohibiting deliberate use of typos or tampering with idioms in radio and TV advertisements, and seven types of advertisements, such as name analysis, fortune analysis, fate test and voice service for making friends and chatting, have also been suspended.
