The zoo is located in Huang Jiawei in the north of Nanjing, with Zijin Mountain in the east, Xuanwu Lake in the south and Nanjing Railway Station in the west, 4.5 kilometers away from the Gulou Square in the city center.

At present, there are more than 200 kinds of rare animals at home and abroad, with more than 3,000 heads (only), which is one of the few zoos in China to exhibit white tigers.

The park has a certain number of animal populations, such as kangaroos, red pandas, roe deer, etc., among which the breeding quantity of kangaroos has maintained the national leading level at present. Breakthrough progress was made in animal anesthesia Baoding and red panda immunization. At present, we are carrying out artificial breeding of red pandas.
