Establish rules with children.
Before the child asks to play with the mobile phone, make a clear agreement with the child that only after completing their own tasks can they be qualified to use the mobile phone. At the same time, make sure they don't have access to the password of their mobile phones to prevent them from playing secretly. Only with parents' consent can the phone be unlocked.
Strictly enforce the time limit
After reaching an agreement, set a clear time for children to use their mobile phones, such as no more than one hour a day. If they exceed the use time, they will lose the right to use their mobile phones next time. We must resolutely implement this rule and not compromise just because the child is crying. This can effectively reduce the time children spend on mobile phones.
Parents lead by example.
Children will imitate the behavior of adults. If parents themselves are addicted to mobile phones, such as swiping the screen at night, then children are likely to be affected. Therefore, in order for children to abide by the agreement, parents should first set an example, control their mobile phone use time, try not to use mobile phones at night, and accompany and care more about their children's growth and study.
Divert the child's attention.
It is necessary to cultivate children's interest in other activities and liberate children from mobile phones. You can organize some group activities, or sign up your favorite interest classes for your children. You can take your children to the library or take part in outdoor sports and make friends on weekends. In these ways, children can find more fun in life and reduce their dependence on mobile phones.
